Treasure Hunters! Rally the troops!

Gather around! NBC has a new show coming on in June called treasure hunters. 10 teams go on a world wide scavanger hunt, and decrypt the clues to find the treasure, BUT in a TV first we at home can win the treasure.

No lookie here, I don't care if I win, or addlepated wins or Fił or jamesi or KGB or anyone else. All I know is Unfiction is bring this thing home. This isn't some Push Nevada find the phone number crap. This is our element. Puzzles. Now I may not be the greatest puzzle sovler, but together there is no stoping us. This is not about a prize this is about not letting anyone else step on our turf and beat us at our own game.

I don't care how many teams there are, if we are at a disadvatage because we are home players, or how crapy the show itself is. This is our game, and they should know that.

That or this game is going to suck and we will just not care.

This speech is as inspiring as Bluto's Speech in Animal House:
Quote:

Did We Give Up When the Germans Bombed Pearl Harbor?

I'm in... probably of no help, but I'm in

I saw a commercial for this a few days ago. I was thinking it would be awesome if there was an Unfiction team, I didn't know you could play along online though. I don't know how much use I would be, but I'm in too.

I love that our team motto is becoming "I'm in but I don't think I will be much help." SCREW THAT! Get that negitive thinking out now. We need to be like the parts of a car. Sure the parts like the tiers and the gas tank that takes 40 bucks to fill get used all the time. But think of the seatbelt. Seemingly useless most of the time, but when we need them it saves our lives.

I'm not asking everyone to be the gas tank, but you should at least be the seatbelts!

*Overly complicated metophor over*

I think that all of us deep down know that we are the best of the best when it comes to solving puzzles, hunting down treasure, whatever. We just don't like to flaunt it and seem cocky and full of ourselves (even though we have every right to be). I mean just because we kick ass doesn't mean the whole world needs to hear it from us (shout it from the rooftops). I think that would make us look really bad (not possible), and we should remain modest in our attempt to shutout the competition (can it really be called that) in this contest.

(Insert cheers from crowd here)

So, I guess I will help as much as I can even though I know it won't be enough. I'll just do my best... Wink

Aw, I kind of liked the motto: "I'm useless, but I'm in"...
