[UPDATE] EoS: Box with Statue- Aug. 23, 06

http://www.edgeofsight.com/about5.php
the word "Wes" is now linked to http://www.edgeofsight.com/about6.php
Quote:

Every wall of this place has at least a crack or two. None that are going to cause the walls to crumble and fall to the ground, mostly just little cracks in the plaster around the windows and doors. I knew they were there when I bought the place and didn't really mind them much. I like to think they add a bit of character to the place, like laugh lines or scars.

There was one crack though that I knew was going to need repair. It was a deeper crack that went straight through to the lath underneath. It's been cracking more each week so I decided I had to fix it yesterday. As I was pulling away the loose bits of plaster I could see an empty area behind the wall. I knew right then that I was meant to open that crack! I pulled away the pieces of the wall as fast as I could and when I finished I found a wooden box. When I pulled it out and opened it I found a statue of a hooded man. I'm not sure who the statue depicts or what it means, but I know that it had to have belonged to Wes.

"statue" is linked to the picture below.
Cracks abound, and another wall comes down.

That's a statue of Digitalis that Sarah made when she was a child living in the Ashram - or atleast that's what it was in the last timeline. Sarah gave it to Wes. In the last timeline it holds one of the stones (like my avatar) that was involved in the "end game" of CTW1.

CK, as you say, it's in the comic.

I find it interesting that the crack seemed to crumble on its own - or is there a force that's trying to bring this out into the open?

Now the question is - How much to tell Iris about it? I suppose the illustration in the comic book would be the best approach.

I sent an email to Bruce about the statue, how it was found, the links to the site, and pointed out that it was in his Interlude 2. I figure he will contact Iris about it.
