Ok, so we have another (gray/white district split) I'd just like to make the request that this doesn't turn into another competition. We all have the group of puzzles and between us all we can solve all of them and have fun doing so. Hopefully we can share all problems, all solutions and then we can make entire use of this game with all players. I'm really looking forward to it, just hoping a huge divide will not be created between the team.

I'm of the same mindset as Forgery, but there will obviously be players who try to play the game in a more competitive style- there's even an "Agents You Trust" and "Agents You Don't Trust" list in your Deus City profile. Then add in the fact that the puzzles are restricted based on karma, and that credits will seemingly be used to buy stuff, and competition may become something important to proceed in the game.

Onto a different subject however, under the contact section of the new Deus City website is an option to send a message regarding "Media Request". Does that mean we should be asking for certain feeds regarding future news, or is that some technical thing I don't understand?

How is this supposed to work? Are we allowed to solve puzzles in either district? I can already guess we have to have the credits to get into the puzzles. All the cheap ones are in the White district and that is where the red karma folks seem to be hanging out.

Solving puzzles in Grey District requires Green Karma. I think Green Karma people can also solve White District puzzles though.

I don't understand the credit thing. It didn't cost me anything to attempt the puzzles, so I have no idea what those numbers next to the name of the task represent.

Anyways, going off on a tangent on the connect the dots puzzle, I sent a "Media Request" email through the contact thing asking for a map of Deus City, and got a reply back from Foo, who is forwarding that to the Temporal Interface Agency. Doubt I'll get anything useful, but an actual map of the place would be handy.

I think the "Agents We Trust" and "Agents We Don't Trust" feature will have a different sort of use later in the game...it's too early to speculate, since there are currently no discernable features enabled by trusting or not trusting. Wait and see.

Friscodude, which puzzle did you mean by "connect the dots"? We have a solution for the Router_13 puzzle...I still don't have access to the Grey puzzles beyond what's posted in the forums, unfortunately. And I don't really want to bother creating another account when I plan on bringing my character over from the "dark side".

Negative karma...spoooooky.

On another note, he's been in the in-game forums sporadically but in case you want to know, you can find Brother Theo's IG profile here. The ID numbers are arranged by Temporal Agent numbers.

Notice the last part of the address is USER_ID.
Comparing to the couple user id's I couldn't help but remember *cough*Mindez*cough*, the user_id at the end of the profile address is our Temporal Agent ID number, truncated.

When I realized that, I checked user_ids from 1. FYI, Ariana actually beat out Brother Theo by scoring user_id 3

Hmm Agent Lex duck out a character that may, or may not be a new NPC from the future. His lists his location as Deus City but he also has a present time E-mail adress of "mr.slewth@gmail.com"

Should we contact this guy and find out if he's IG or OOG?
If so I think Lex should do it, since he "uncovered" him =)

I wrote Foo asking to be added into his 'agents I trust' list. He did it and I got some extra credits and prestige.

Also, in case you haven't noticed, posting on the IG forums gives +1 prestige.

My theory (slap me if I said it elsewhere on this forum) is that black and white are extreme states of karma. Thus Foo and Theophilus, being ingame characters, can have them set as such. Perhaps, through answering the psych test in an exact way and answering all your puzzles, you can actually get there, too.
