Well, Cassiiswatching myspace may not be afiliated with cassieiswatching youtube but is certanly playing a game.

I'm on her friends list, and I send a PM telling her I could help. Got this as a reply:

We've basically confirmed that the myspace Cassie is fake, due to the video on YouTube forbiding embedding shortly after it was discovered, and the youtube profile updating with "Bree tells lies....so does myspace..." shortly after. What we've got there is likely a gamejacker, possibly trying to promote the band that keeps popping up around the myspace, with 'Cassie's song'.

Also, the myspace never tells us anything that youtube Cassie hasn't already.

I know the myspace is fake, I myself posted that a couple of post up. But I'm new to the ARG scene, and this got me wondering. After all, the cassieiswatching is itself a spin off LG15, so maybe mysapce is a spinoff game of cassieisswatching.

But then, I am a huge noob here. It is common to have people trying to mislead a game, gamejacking a lead and making their own stuff? Or is it that this whole LG15 is out of the hands of 'the creators'?

Have there any case where one ARG spawned another one?

Yeah, what is called 'gamejacking' is trying to post misleading or false clues that can really wreck havok on the actual game. They are best to be ignored. Games have spawned from other games but usually AFTER the orginal game has concluded. But things like these are just people trying to get attention/hoping the creators will write them into the story.

Well this may or may not be a full ARG, but if this is the kind of excitment you get from playing ARGs, then I got myself a new hobby.

I-ll go now and keep hitting reload on that damn LG15 forum untill I see a link.
