Interesting. I'd like to see a link to this "statement". It's not like the creators to come out directly about it.

yeah i just read the actual announcement and i dont want to play anymore, but hey, im glad i found Unfiction and may be joining in the mainstream games they have enjoyed for years.

Yeah, I can't be involved in this if they are disavowing it.
I'll keep watching, but only to make sure people are okay.
I don't want anyone getting hurt over a game. Especially if there is something not so innocent going on.

I really don't think this is as bad as everyone is making it out to be.

yes, the offshoot of the lonely girl series is strange, morbid, graphic... but I liked that in this game. there is no argument about it being an arg, therefore, even though it is not being created by the lonely girl company, someone has still put forth the time to make a game for us.. and I'm going to continue (although I live on the east coast and can't actually participate locally).

I hope that others will continue with the cassieiswatching plot. Although the mood is dark, with many people involved in the game, it can be very fun, and very safe.

Ok, here's my theory:

LG15 crew is at the top of popularity. Still not MTV, but with many journalists after them.

Someone on the crew thinks about turnign things into a really creepy ARG. The others are unsure, but since they're experimenting and things are working well they tell him to go on with it. They give him the character of cassie, who was planned to be Bree's girlfriend or whatever, and their blessings to go to the pond and park.

They won't help directly, since they're busy with bree.

ARG guy does cassieiswatching, while LG15 people get full media attention.

ARG guy involves charles manson on it, the forums go crazy, the video gets flagged.

LG15 people goes 'WTF'? that's not the kind of publicity they need when they already have a thelema cult on their hands. ARG guy says it's fine. LG15 disagree. They do not want nothing to do with it, he can go on on his own, but they'll state it's not official.

All we need to prove this is for Bree to go outside again, and then for cassie to not know the place. If Bree's secret location gets deciphered by cassie a third time, I'm saying LG15 people are full of BS, or cassie is actually a real ghost.

I think that with all the negative (hateful) comments that were posted on LG15's youtube and MySpace pages after she was found to be fake that it is very possible someone with an unstable mind might have took it a bit to personal. These Cassieiswatching videos/ARG elements could have been created as a reaction. If people do continue i strongly urge you to proceed with caution and tread lightly.
