Possible: PlayB3yond
PS3 Viral?

http://www.playb3yond.com/

Not sure if its simplistic design or a viral marketting site. I couldn't get anything from a source view.

Dali, man.

It could be a reference to the famous painting, "The Persistence of Memory"

Also note that the clock reads 3:00, which is likely a reference to the PS3 being the third iteration of the Playstation brand.

Via the blurb on kotaku

Quote:

These come from deep in the bowels of Sony itself, via blindfolded carrier pigeon that's signed an NDA.

"So I've attached some png's of the playbeyond site, it's currently just a graphic featuring the clock stopped at 3 but it will become something much more when it goes live. Yes this will be an ARG of sorts. That's all I can say for now... drop me a line in future and I might be able to tell you more."

I do like the art direction at least.

Ok, here's some analysis:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

They're the control buttons, cut into halves:

Square1, Triangle1, Square(incomplete), Square2, X1, Square3, X2, Triangle1,

Square2, Circle1, Square(complete), X1, Circle2, Circle2, X3, Square3, Circle1,

Triangle(complete), Circle(complete), Square1, X3, X4, Triangle(incomplete), X(complete),

X4, X2.

So, theres 26 symbols... My guess is that each one represents a letter, and we jsut have to match them up, then type in something like "PLAYSTATION".

Here's the alphabet order. This picture was ripped from www.qj.net

Note that for the first one on the list 'factor5', you actually type in 'factorfive'
