Just checked flight prices from London - EasyJet are currently doing Luton to Amsterdam for about �66. BA are about �80 (on lastminute.com).

hey guys, I live in Amsterdam! I relocated in the spring. I don't think I can make it to the conference, but I would really like to get together with y'all on Friday or Saturday. Please let me know the plans!

I'm definitely up for either Friday or Saturday night or, even, both.

Also, I wanted to mention that there is going to be a presentation on alternate reality gaming on Wednesday. I'm not positive on the time. The picnic website says 10:00-13:00 but was told 11:00-midday by the person who's organizing the panel (Adam Martin, former MindCandy CTO). It's not listed on the regular conference schedule but as one of the "Partner Events". You can find out more on the picnic website, but we're going to be presenting a whitepaper that was put together by the IGDA Special Interest Group on ARG as well as answering questions and whatnot. So, if you're going to be at the conference, I do hope you'll stop by and say hi!

Spacebass had a few hours to spend in Chicago, so I headed out to O'Hare to meet him. We had a nice late lunch at the Hilton, and then hung out chatting about stuff.

It turns out I almost made him miss his last leg of the flight to Amsterdam! Wink

I got a text from him while I was on the train home, telling me that he made it, but just barely. They had to page him and everything. Oops! Embarassed

Wish I could be there at PICNIC, if only to meet Sassypants in person!
