Someone already mentioned a reference to I Love Bees, but I thought I'd share two others I noticed. I didn't play ILB (I had my head too far up my "PlayStation is God" ass at that point to own an XBox) but I've been reading about it recently and I even visited the old site. One thing I notice is that the countdown, and the text directly above it, on the commonspace site appears at least slightly similar to the countdown from ILB. Also, a program is mentioned in the text above the countdown called SPDR-5.14.3, which reminded me of the SPDR program from ILB.

Ok for the last day I thought ya'all were crazy cause I didn't see any countdown. Today I tried in IE (I usually use FireFox) and viola! There it is.
Just as an FYI for anyone else who has the same problem.

Ok, the reason the "VIRAL" link wouldn't work last night is that the EXE site must have been down. It seems to be working now, and it takes you back to the EXE site.

We're nearing the end of the countdown now. Now, I suck at math so this might be slightly off, but by my calculations, it'll be 11:30 pm Eastern time when this thing finally hits 00:00:00:00:000. As it happens, I like to stay up relatively late and I intend to be part of the Ocular Effect live chat, so I'll still be up. If people want me to watch the countdown and report on what, if anything, happens when it ends, I can do that.

Ok, call me stupid - but I checked the ticker last night around 7:30ish (CST) and it roughly showed 1 day 4 hours... I just jumped on to check and it was showing 1 day 5 hours Confused

Did this "event" that was supposed to occur get pushed back about a day? This would mean that it would be around 2:00 (CST) tomorrow. If this is correct, I'll still be at work, but can at least follow along here - just won't be able to IM or group chat until I get home...

EDIT: Hang on... looking at it now, it seems to have been pushed back about 14 hours.

Yeah, after refreshing the page, I see the same thing AngBa does. Unfortunately, I have a trip planned that starts early tomorrow morning, so I won't be here to see what the countdown leads to. Hopefully somebody else will be able to be there to see it hit the big 0 and report on what it says. I'll be checking back once I'm back home, but that won't be until at least Tuesday or Wednesday.
