I know Celina was our videographer - great job!

I am getting asked by many if the videos are available yet.

Are they?

I believe they will be hosted on ARGN.

They will indeed, as soon as I encode them to appropriate sizes. Tonight's work.

Couldn't wait till the weekend to get them up.

I'll echo what everyone else said -

there were wonderful ARG-y friends to catch up with,
then hanging out with all our favorite puppetmasters and one evil AI from the future;
new friends were made during the superb program, and
that festquest was 'just right';
we had much good eating and drinkering
and
a couple of very late nights in very good company.

The weekend was over too soon.

I've uploaded one portion of videos I took with my camera, to youtube.
* The question posed to one panel asking how they define an ARG
* A short snip from the recording of the live netcast, and how to distract a mailman Razz
* good times singin' karaoke!
About 7 1/2 minutes.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nlT2IA6AH1k

I also transcribed the panel portion in the video's description.
I'll be uploading a short video experience pieced together from C2BK (from when the group was pretty large), and one more with just some general touristy stuff I recorded while in SF. Didn't take much video... but just enough to capture the amazing memories. You guys are all phenominal!

I left my <3 at ARGFest '07

What can I write? How about something like so much fun, so little time, and I can't wait to do it again: So much fun getting to hang out with friends from afar. So little time to get to meet everyone, and do everything that I would ideally want to do (including actually get a chance to say goodbye to just about anyone Sad ). I can't wait to do this again, hopefully in 2008.

Here are my pictures from San Francisco, mostly stuff rather than people because my little Elph seems to work best that way.

Nothing extraordinary and not comprehensive, but presented anyways for the sake of a complete record.

I'm going back to listening to my Tony Bennett CD while clutching my C2BK dolly now.

FOUND: At one of our tables at the Rogue Brewery Friday night: a Fujifilm disposable camera. With pictures of Muir Woods and a ferry trip across the Bay.

It was a great weekend, and I'd like to thank everyone responsible for taking on the task of organizing this event. Can't wait till next year. Very Happy

Yay, I made it back to good old Dutchmania in one piece! The flight wasn't all that bad, and I made it from the gate, through immigration, to baggage claim, through customs and to the train station in 7 minutes... if that's not a record, I don't know what is Smile (for comparison: at SFO, that cost me almost 2 hours, mostly because of the huge lines at immigration).

Anyway, as I said before I had a blast! I too uploaded my pics, which you can find here if you are interested in all 127 of them, containing a lot of touristy secenery pics, or click here if you are only interested in the directly ARGFest-related stuff. On top of what I've already seen from others, there are some more convention pics in there, and I tried to document the FestQuest as closely as possible, for those who were not in SF. You can access the FestQuest set directly, too, if you like.

My pics aren't showing up in the argfest07-tagged list yet, as my account is still pending approval from Flickr or something. Also, I noticed that some people use 'argfest07' and others use 'argfest2007'. Might be easiest for that to be only one and the same tag?

Some random observations:

Kona, yes, I am indeed totally addicted to ARGFest now! On EuroARGFest, I'd love to see if there's enough interested in that to actually pull it off. The reactions in this thread are pretty encouraging Smile. I'll surely be working my ass off to get it organised if it were ever to come that far!

Nicko: you're accent's thick?! I'd better go and take some English classes to get me back in shape there, ugh Smile

jamesi: kudos on a job well done on the Netcast, lots and lots of fun! I wonder if there's anyway we could get a hold of the isolated soundbyte of steve saying "that guy was hot!", y'know, for purposes yet unknown Cool

Lots of great comments and photos here.

About ARGFest Europe - who knows? Anything is possible.

Right now we have ideas for ARGFest Europe, ARGFest Toronto, ARGFest USA destination and also a second meet-up that isn't officially an ARGFest-o-con but something like one.

I'm happy to plan whatever and whenever we need to get together.

Bottom line: we need to see each other more.

I miss you guys.

Lots of love!

My one request is that we leave ample time to save up money for a trip to Europe. Very Happy
