Ahhh.. that explains one of the cartouches on the cardboard box. Hmmm... looks like I need to dig out a compass (iron filings are a bit harder to come by!)

Nope same here still playing ever so often but don't seem to be getting anywhere. Had a long search on the net and the only forum discussing this thing I can find is here, all the others are just asking where to buy it etc.
There's got to be something somewhere to help with this thing as according to the website theres only 5 gold coins left now where there was 10 so 5 people have already cracked this thing.

Or one person has cracked it and told 4 of his mates (or bought another 4 puzzles)

haha true if I had the money i'd buy a second one and cut it open with a cutter just to see the interna; workings of the thing, then use that to solve the intact one and claim my £500 therefore recooping most of the money and £300 profit.

I can't wait (part2) So I am waitng for my Isis to arrive and I have some questions. I am not asking for spoilers, so don't answer them if I am asking pointed questions that are part of the puzzle.
1) What "moves" on the puzzle? The rings with the symbols?
2) How many symbols per ring?
3) Did I read this as there are more puzzles inside? Or is this like a multiple combo lock? You unlock the first set of symbols and that opens the internal workings to allow you to move the symbols again to a second combo that unlocks, etc, etc (not like a nesting doll, just that you might have to break 3 or 4 codes before it will open)
What else can you tell me about the puzzle without giving away any secrets? I am so excited that I can't wait to get this thing!!!

1) Three 3 rings with hieroglyphs rotate and the plunger at the top presses down. There are also other internal moving parts but I'll let you figure out what on your own
2) There are 8 symbols per ring.
3) Yes, there is more than one stage you have to progress through to open it.

hurry hurry hurry
(yes - I'm playing PXC and Isis, even though I am in a very RURAL part of the USA - I am so bored here!)

Well I tried a compass and...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
There is a magnet in the ISIS and when you place a compass on top of the plunger it will point in a certain direction... I guess this might explain the 'north' clue

Is North in the same place for you? Is North in the same place for all?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
With the compass on top of the plunger I get North to be oposite the 2 placenta signs on the gold rings. Is this what you get?
And from this do we take the clue to read
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Keep the pluger facing northwards, meaning the double placenta's at the top?

I've just purchased one of these and am working my way through the clues. First 3 seem easy enough, can't believe they are selling the decryption keys on the site for £5 each.
