Re: ISIS Rings
No symbols

I have no symbols on the bottom blue ring of my isis, is this normal as I have read some threads that have 3 rings of symbols. Will this inhibit me solving the puzzle?

hello - not sure if this will cause you problems but i imagine it owuld to be fiar, all 3 blue rings do have symbols on, and should have 8 symbols per ring

hope that helps - good luck

Rubbish!

I can tell you this guys take your time on the thing
why?

This is a post which is a real spoiler the adventure you are rushing too, is rubbish the rules have changed so much since the first people who got gold. It has now become an embarrassing lottery of stupid clues which are so complicated in one way and ridiculous on the other. Plus now the sonicwarp forum has been buzzing with the people who have now opened the ball who are pissed off with the inclusion of passwords which you have to guess given to the people who are holding the pyramids which are hidden. This means that you can travel to a pyramid location find the people who have it and give them the wrong password which if you get wrong they wont tell you if they have it. So unless you fancy driving around the country wasting time and money it is not as good as you may of thought when you bought the puzzle. Before you go looking for the stuff in the forum, you need to know this it is a heavily edited forum many threads disappear and are locked to stop any negative stuff being said. I was reading some things on there today about things people are not happy about and bang! It was gone but in short the whole thing is turning in to a Balls up and is really pissing people off. It would seem that SonicWarps answer to this is to just make sure no one can talk about it openly. Well it may affect sales! It also seems that peoples concern over the changes is not being listened to they are just stopped. I spend time on many forums and in my experience the one who edit things to this point are hiding stuff. I am disillusioned by this I hope I have found a forum that enjoys free speech.

Help!!!!
I have been twisting, pushing and fiddling with the isis for two weeks now. I have solved the clues and think i have 3 balls in play as its seems much fuller in there.
Getting to the next stage, I would like to know what to turn; I have tried the rings, the plunger with the symbol (yes that symbol) on it all to no avail. Other posts mention an increase in resistance when turning one or two rings but this does not seem to work on my isis.
I have managed to part the placentas by about 8mm but assuming the plunger is the top this is the wrong direction for opening. Also, to move the halves any further in same direction would require force, and this is clearly wrong.

Any help to get back on track either by replying or by pm would be very very very much appreciated.

Thanks in anticipation.

Yup. The ISIS is only about 2 3/4 inches tall. 8 3/4 inches around (22.5 cm round)

It was smaller than I imagined too.

But believe me, once you see how you have to open it and what you have to do, you'll be glad that it fits in the palm of your hand so easily.

Ive never posted before here because i only had the same questions and hadnt progressed any further with my isis so i had nothing to contribute to this forum.
That has all changed now because less than ten minutes ago, after trying since christmas day i finally opened it!!!!!
Its not over yet though because it seems it is equally as hard to find and open the pyramids.
Good look to every one still trying!!

Help!!!

I aint sure. I dropped mine above head hight onto carpet. It did'nt break but Maybe I released the 3rd ball. Maybe Im completly wrong but i now have it turned about a cm. If anyone wants to tell me how to open it feel free!!

I dropped mine and I think I have released ball 3 but I am not sure. There does seem to be more a noise in there, or is it my imagination? Is there a certain way up it needs to be before you drop it? and how the hell do you move the placentas apart?

Clue 3 seems to suggest that the first two balls are always in play which means the large sounding one I now have is the 3rd one. I just dont know how to progress. Any help would be greatly recieved.
