Demagnetisation

I have three balls but they are stuck to the bottom magnet. I'm gonna heat my ball up in order to demagnetise the magnets. Another way to demagnetise is to strike it real hard.

Stuck at 180 degrees! Help?
Stuck at 180 degrees! Help?

I released all three ballbearings and managed to move the two circles on the gold rings 180 degreees apart.

Now its stuck, and ive tried repeating the procedure to rotate it anoother 180 but it wont budge. Sometimes i can initiate the plunger to only depress slightly but even this wont enable me to rotate it a further 180 degrees or back in line.

Any help would be wkd, my fingers are getting hammered.

Cheers

If you've not had the puzzle open before then don't worry, it's almost impossible for it to be permanently broken. Sounds like you're missing out the step between getting the plunger to depress only half-way, and being able to unscrew the Isis... (although you must have done this at some point to get to the state you're in.)

Good luck!

Going Crazy

Now I am confused!!! I thought I had 3 ball in place due to the extra noise but now I am not sure as I cant get the gold ring to rotate or the plunger to only depress halfway. If there are 3 balls do the gold ring turn out of alignment straight away or do I have turn something (god knows what) anticlockwise first - I thought that clue refeered to the whole thing but that doesnt seem to be it.
Any pointers would be welcomed as I am losing my mind. PM me if you dont want your comments to appear.

Next Stage

I am stuck from releasing the third ball, which is now in play. I have been turnin gthe isis any which way (including anticlock) and also turned the rings, and the plunger all to no avail.

Can, sorry will anyone give me some hint either on here or via pm on how to move on as its now making my fingers hurt.

I have managed to move the placentas apart by 10mm but i think this is the wrong direction.

Thanks.

M

 A CROSS WORD
clue feeling

So.. translating the clues was quite easy. Clue 11 just seems to be out there somewhere... who knows where it came from?
Interpreting the clues is a pig... yet everyone who has opened it says you just have to keep thinking about the clues and you will figure it out.
Are the clues crisp and accurate like a Telegraph or a Times crossword? Or are they pathetically fuzzy and intuitive like a Mail crossword?
Or are they deliberately misleading? Shocked

The Clues are best described as "VAGUE" once opened you will see how almost straight forward it is.

Hmmm.. three balls but can't turn anti-clockwise.

I don't remember any clue telling you to turn it. Wink

so, have i interpreted the clues wrong then? Wink
well, it did say 'anti clockwise motion', but i have tried moving the balls in that manner, but it seems i am getting no where...
i then presumed you had to turn it as people were talking about their placenta's moved...
but i guess there is a step before that then...yes?
thanks Smile
