Re: Halfway stage

So, can anyone tell me how far I should be able to press in the plunger, for it to be ''only slightly''?
When I push it, it does stop before it reaches what feels like the bottom. But, if I use a little more force I can depress it fully and hear a small click.

All answers are appreciated! Thank you.

Not very far at all ~3mm.

I got my US / Sharper Image Isis in the mail yesterday. With the help of the clues here I was able to easily decypher the ciphers and figure out how to get it open. Probably about 6 hours start to finish.

For other US purchasers, you can get a few extra clues by deciphring the UK clues, which are a bit different from the US clues - however - reading this entire thread is the best way to help yourself.

Thanks everyone for your input and for confirming that I AM one of the 5%

InuShonen, if you log back in, please email me at ScottiesInBocaSPLATComcast.net I would like to ask you a question about the pword on the Sharper Image site. BTW, sorry you only got a coffee maker when the other "winner" got the Zero Gravity ride (wirth about $7500!)

stupid me

Okay now I got mine a couple of days back from the States (caribbean region) and really... solving the clues in the book was more or less easy but WHAT am I missing...
I don't read ANYTHING on any of the 29 pages about the glyphs on the Isis, only about clue 11 and follow the clues 1-10... now shoot me for stupidity but I don't get it...
Got the image on the plunger strangely turning in comparance to the placenta's on the "solid"rings but that's about it
The glyph on top says "Isis" so looked up the rest of their meaning I also found but what to do with it
the clue's itself are clear what happens inside I can imagine, clue 11 even happened once and by keeping the plunger downwards and listening it became clear that it worked and after that.. same handling same impact nothing further happened during rotating keeping pressure and all...

What do I miss

The plunger image turning in relation to the placentas hasn't got anything to do with the opening of the puzzle.

I know its weird but try clue 11 and then try following clues 1 - 10 in order and see if that helps any.

I wouldn't want to spoil it for someone who is intent on trying to open it on their own merit.

Me - I got lots of help! Rolling Eyes
