You'll get it. I must have pressed the plunger a 1,000 times before I got it. Just keep pumping it while doing the motion the clue says. Then you'll know when you hit the halfway stage. Once you have it don't loose it.

With the plunger. Push straight down. I find if you are pushing at an angle it causes friction making the plunger not wanting to go down. Giving you false hope

I know what you mean about false hope, so many times I think "oh my god I've got it" and then it goes all the way down.
Just one question, should it be upside down as I'm pumping the plunger?
I've tried every which way.

to the part you are at now. Has the clues told you to turn it upside down (not literally of course).

Clues are outa the way
i now dont know what to do.

Yea, i figured that out a while back. Tried it out and figured out that it wasn't the same cipher for all 10 clues. That is what tripped me up. I got all of the clues deciphered except the first one. Lb homvy qbf tfil eoon lwo hfllby sdjvym fnadpzi. This one is kinda funky because it comes from the sharper image in America. So anyway, How in the hell is one supposed to figure our their individual combination to the rubix sphere on steroids? Do you have to purchase the online clues, is it just trial and error, what? i dont know what to do with it, letalone know which way to point the damn button. Because mine does not translate into (northwards) it tranlsates into UD_ A_ _ _. it is just mush. Please help

All 10 clues are the same world wide. You can go to isisadventure.com/tsi register and buy the clues for $10 each or google substitution codes, brute force method, and decyphering and learn a couple of the methods.

Yes, all the clues do not have the same pattern. There are a couple different versions of ISIS 1 puzzles out there, but they all open the same way world wide.

Directionality in Clues

Yeah ISIS983, they may all open the same, but from the point of view of us who have the U_ _A_ _ _ clue instead of the NorthwArds clue, we see it as a pretty bad conflict between the two. My clues seem to be different from everyone else's, and I've been wondering if I should go with my own clues or those of the other Isis adventurers out there...

Any suggestions?

Go to isisadventure.com/forum under the BOOK forum or for the USA isisadventure.com/tsi. SonicWarp has said that there were some typos in the clues. Go to the sites and download the clue booklet to see if you have a typo booklet.

After half way point

Hi all,
I got my Isis last night and stayed up till 3am figuring out the 10 clues. I've now spent all day at work trying to open the damn thing. I can get the 3rd ball loose and I can get it into place so that the plunger only goes down 1/2 way. I'm stuck after that though. All I get out of moving the thing around, turning it upside down, shacking it, rolling, etc and the only progress I'm making is swore thumbs.

I have to say though, It's the most fun I've had being pissed off in awhile.

The one thing I havn't done anything with so far is the rings. Do I need to figure out what the symbols are? Does the placement of the rings count for anything?

OK, Got the third BB

Well, I finally got the third ball bearing out (by complete accident, mind you. I thought my friend had broken it). Now on to the plunger issues. Days and weeks of sore thumbs to come. Yay!

jknaack,

Sounds like your doing good. About the rings see the clues. About the next step after 1/2 plunger. Play with your ISIS a little more to find out how to make it go " shhh " like the clues say. Once you figured that out go back to 1/2 plunger then continue along with the clues

stuck at 360
almost open

I got the placentas rotated a complete circle, but I couldn't keep turning with the plunger down (my thumbs are getting raw.)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Can I still start over where I am with getting the big ball in the middle, plunge down to hold it, and then silence the other two? Otherwise, how could I possibly proceed? It doesn't seem like I can turn them back to re-screw it into the original position either.
