Simple Substitution Cypher. To solve the clues use this method for most of it, for the rest its like guessing the final phrase on Wheel of Fortune.

After pushing the plunger a couple hundred times you'll know the second your at the 1/2 way stage. The plunger only goes 1/2 way down.

Must do the 11th clue to open the normal way. There are other ways to open the ISIS though. Wink

Me too, cobrafast1, I've had problem deciphering the simple letter substitution. Most words come out fine and the last one is jibberish. I must be missing something too.

11th Clue? What 11th clue? I only see 10 clues in my book. Where is the 11th clue?

Getting to phase 2...

My question is itself a bit of a spoiler, so be wary if you haven't solved yet..

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
To get it so that the plunger goes 1/2 way down, I know you must get the 3rd ball bearing to the center of the internal maze. However, does anyone have any tips on HOW to navigate it there? I'm fairly certain i've released the 3rd ball, but I seem to be having a real problem getting it into the middle.

Please respond here or e-mail MunashiKaibaSPLATgmail.com[/spoiler]

even with it open...

I've opened mine and I still can't quite figure out HOW I did it...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
even open, the internal maze isn't visible! Is there a way to see what I did so I have a chance of repeating it? Like, can I pop the metal cover off the maze part without ruining this?

EDIT: Was trying to see the maze to figure out why I couldn't do it again! Have used someone's screwdriver idea, and lo and behold, I had a bit of shrapnel in mine that was sticking it up. No idea how I made it around it the first time. Kind of annoying that such an expensive puzzle would have random metal crap pieces floating around getting in the way of my ball!

d'oh

OK, I tried to follow the sharperimage instructions to reset this, and I got it stuck mostly closed, apparently relocked. Have tried retracing my steps (and even drew a map of the last stage before I closed it, but I can't get it to the half-depressed stage. Anyone else do this? It's not reset, and not open... Feeling like an idiot!
