My finger tips are about to fall off, but I got it open. The Big Bang Theory worked to dislodge the 3rd BB. I thought I had it released for the past two days. Now, I figure it out.

I had no key inside, just a number stamped in there. Now to get online and enter the number and get the key or next step. This is exciting.

what do you mean the big band theory. i have punched my Isis dropped it from 2 center meters onto my desk. is that enough to release the bb3. if not what should i do to release the bb3

Try dropping from about chest high and make sure it lands plunger up. I dropped mine on a rug covering a tile floor. Great for impact. i didn't want to crack a tile or scratch the orb. Good Luck.

so your saying drop it so it lands facing up so i can see the plunger. and would it make a difference if i dropped it onto my carpet or not?

Plunger to the stars upon impact. Carpet is to just protect the orb from getting scratched and revealing telll tale marks. If you have thick carpeting, it may not work. Mine is just a rug over ceramic tile floor which is over a cement slab sub-floor. Good Luck

ok ill try it on the tile with a rug when no one is home so if there is a dent or something to the tile i ll say i didn't do it. and would me dropping it on the tile with the rug get the code inside lost forever like people say if you try to break into it.

No. I've had mine all apart, by accident and this is a durable device. Remember, it's a BB against a magnet that you have to exceed the force of the magnet to dislodge the BB from the magnet. That's all I can tell you.

 Worst Feeling Ever

So i managed to achieve the halfway stage however upon frustration and funning out of ideas i attempted clue 11 while in the halfway stage. originally i had some movement between the two halves however once i performed clue 11 i lost that movement and now it seems that the middle ring is stuck. i can get the middle ring to rotate some but then it sticks again. is my puzzle now moved to paperweight status?

ps I also no longer hear the 2 small bearings.

I know. It's like a big psychological weight being lifted. Now I can sleep nights.

I think ive done something wrong, with the plunger facing UP the top placenta is to the right and the bottom placenta is to the left (there about 1 cm apart from the center to center) the plunger goes fully down and i can hear maybe 1 ball bearing inside, although it doesnt move around much inside.

have i locked my isis?

cheers

Placentas 180 apart

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I know that this has been brought up before, but I haven't been able to find a definative answer. My placentas are 180 degrees apart, all three BB's are loose, but I can't get the third bb through the maze and get the plunger halfway. I got it halfway to arrive at this point, when it allowed my to twist to 180, but doesn't seem like the third bb can get where it needs to from where its at. any help would be greatly appreciated. have I broken it by applying clue #11 a little too often...? please private message or e-mail me at chachithedogSPLATyahoo.com if you prefer. thanks ahead of time! Smile

I am in the same boat, after having solved the puzzle and incorrectly reassembling it. I would also appreciate any information as to whether this is definitely still solvable or not.

Thanks in advance,
Michael

question from a while back

Anonymous wrote:
ok this is the same guy who gave the 9:16pm info, right when you have the plunger halfway down you:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
hold the plunger pressed down, then turn the whole isis upside down and shake it until the 2 ball bearings go quiet, then press the plunger (while still holding upside down) slightly harder, it should depresss all the way and you hear a click, then turn the isis the right way up and while holdting down the plunger unscrew the isis!

tell me if it helps

do I have to do anything before I hold the plunger down?
