I am such an idiot! i knew what would happen if i tried to reset it myself and i did it anyway. now my Isis is irreversibly locked. The only thing i can do now is shell out $100 so TSI can fix it for me Mad

What did you do to lock it up upon resetting? Maybe you can still get it open or fully closed again. Describe what happened to me. Use private email.... dwareham02 at comcast.net.

Maybe I can help you. I thought mine was messed up too, but I got it open again.

Did you get it open and get the key number?

Did you reset it and how?

Broken??

I've been trying to get through the maze for several days. Having read thru this forum and the FAQ I know it shouldn't take that long. I'm sure the 3BB is free.

My question is: Am I just swirling it wrong or could something be broken?

I saw in a previous post something was attached to the 3BB on someone's Isis. Somehow they still got it open and were able to post a picture. I'm wondering if by having created the universe so many times I may have broken off something (part of the magnet?) that may be preventing me from getting through the maze. If someone that has had their's open could let me know, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Just keep trying, Mike. The Isis puzzle has over 15 unique mazes, yours might be a bit trickier, or take more time. Try swirling it in the other direction, try faster, try slower, try a combination of everything, you'll get it eventually.

Crikey,

People who are frustrated and asking for help to solve the isis after a few days.

Took me nearly a year to do it.

If you get someone to solve it for you or tell you how to solve it then it doesnt make you brainy or one of the 5%

 Opened - WooHoo

Awesome, Got mine for xmas, seemed impossible...

But with taking some time and reading some pages, I finally managed to open mine. Well open it sort of then lock it, then open some more and finally opened it, then bragged, then locked it again before getting the insides, then opened it again... Smile LOL... managed tho.

I wanna say thanks to those that managed to do the ISIS without help. And those still struggling... Do some simple reading, everything you need is on here.

And Yea I might not be part of the brainy 5% you mentioned, but learning never killed anyone. Also if I never found this site, I would never have seen all the other wonderful goodies out there.

.

Hey, Dont get me wrong. We all need help and I had some minor pointers in solving it but asking for a full walkthrough after only having it a few days (which some people have asked me for) is not really what its about.

Congrats on solving it and I am still willing to help people if they PM me but please please stop asking the same questions over and over again. If you cant be bothered to scout through the 50+ pages then maybe you should put the puzzle down.

C Cool

I feel your pain too, but I figured one thing out. If these people are 1. Not smart enough to figure out the ISIS. or 2. Can't even find the step by step instructions on this forum on how to open it then they will NEVER be able to figure out the riddles. So, all they are doing is racking up the numbers of people that are trying to figure out a riddle, but are no real threat.

So I gave up complaining (except for now lol). I don't think they should have the right to brag, because they didn't figure it out. They just followed the directions to bake the cake so to speak. I don't think that should brag about how fast they opened the ISIS when they got the instructions off of this site. You cheated, hence no bragging rites.

Knowing SonicWarp these puzzles are going to get harder and harder. So the questions will get worse. Just lead them in the wrong direction, it will be more fun then getting frustrated. If you have a real question if your stuck we will give you a hint, not the complete answer though.

Cheers,

vulcan169,

Forget about the placentas right now. Your main job is to get to the half way stage. Follow the clues. What position did it tell you to keep the puzzle in for the first half? Half way the plunger will only go half way, you'll know when you have it Wink .

The clues are like a game of Simon Says. If Simon says to pat your head you need to keep patting it until Simon says otherwise.

Find clue 11

You cannot open the ISIS without clue 11.

Clue 11 was originally on isisadventure.com/forum but was taken off. It is mentioned in other posts on that forum though. Clue 11 was from the designer of the ISIS because no one could open it. The ISIS adventure is part WEB based that is why the clue is only found on the WEB.

Try to find it because as you try to find it you may come across a 100 different things that may help.

Vulcan169, if you got the placentas to shift that means
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
you actually had the puzzle opened and it relocked while you were unscrewing it. next time the placentas are loose/free, hold the plunger down while you unscrew the Isis
