Testudo: that url doesn't seem to work for me. I get 404 Not found when I click on the link.

Bloody Hell.

Why waste $200 on a puzzle whose main selling point is its difficulty, if you're just going to look for the answer here?

 Permanently locked?

I finally got my Isis open but failed to put the "loose" ball bearing back inside the center hole (where I found it) before screwing the two halves back together. To my terror, I heard a click just before realizing this and now the puzzle seems to be locked closed without one of the bearings. Am I screwed? Can I still open it? I'm not having any luck so far?

Thanks,
Jeff

If you forgot to put the 3rd bb back in the Isis then will never open it again by conventional ways.
However, there is a trick to open the Isis that does not require the bb. it is posted on page 62 of this thread by Charlief222

Will this still work even though I have a slight gap between the two halves (it's locked with a turn or two remaining)?

 Got it!

Thanks! I was able to re-open my Isis and place the ball bearing back inside before closing it!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Decent puzzle, but don't like the function of the rotating rings!

The last step to open the ISIS

Hi to every isis adventures!!

I have followed the clues till the 9th clue, and I was able to depress the plunger completly again. Then I tried the 10th clue but the placentas only move slightly and they are more or less 1 cm apart, but now I can't move the two halves in no way.
I still can hear the 3rd BB moving inside, but the other two seemed to placed somewhere when I depressed the plunger to the end.
Is this normal?? Should I place the 3rd BB somewhere else??

Many thanks for your attention!!

No Key

Dude, that's b.s. You ARE supposed to have a key once you open it.. and I just opened mine also missing a key. I think we've been had!! The only reason I wanted it was for the entirety of the "Adventure", otherwise the damned thing isn't worth much more than $50. I'm calling Sharper Image. This isn't right. Maybe we should get a list of people who opened their's but didn't have a key.
