 Royal Society Archives (from 1665-)
Free access to classic papers until December

Have been meaning to post this for a while but never quite got round to it. Thought that you're the sort of people that would enjoy/be inspired by/laugh at the archives of the Royal Society which have been made freely accessible until December (the oldest are at the bottom of the page at above link).

Papers include Franklin's original electric kite paper and papers by Fleming, Darwin, etc. My favourite has to be one of the earliest and a classic of enlightenment by Boyle An account of a very odd monstrous calf. Although I am quite partial to An Account of Another Experiment of Transfusion, viz. of Bleeding a Mangy into a Sound Dog by Thomas Coxe

So...any PMs looking for their next idea, Monstrous Calf ARG please.

PS I quite like the new message icons...as this is free, loot I feel? Smile
