I think I found the place where we start looking for the Tall Man.

If you look in Timothy Mann's Full Profile, there is morse code that translates as:

BLOG
DOT
COM

The video (titled "Mission One") contains what appears to be flashes of B&W satellite images followed by the message "Come find the Tall Man."

The music used in the soundtrack is "Somewhere, Beyond the Sea" by Bobby Darin or Frank Sinatra, I can't tell which . Does this link somehow to the "After You've Gone" song?

EDIT: This video is listed on YouTube under the category "Travel & Places " and has the tags "one" "of" "five". There is also the comment "Here is your map." Hrmm..

EDIT: I am attaching an image from Google Earth showing that at least two of the satellite images show Santa Monica (e.g., the pier). I've highlighted the relevant sections.

There is a blog called tallman, but the page is blank except for an entry titled "My Story". If you change the blog name to mystory.blog.com, you'll find another blank blog with an entry titled, "Me Myself and I, which leads to a blog by that name. The next blog has a title entry of "The World through my I's", but the trail seems to end there. Not sure what to do next or if this is even related to sammeeeees.

Five pictures of what I'm betting is the Santa Monica Pier, with the last one titled "MEET ME HERE."

The pictures are all given the date "Tuesday October 17 2006" and they are listed as being posted at 21:55, 20:55, 19:55, 18:55, & 17:55.

The MEET ME HERE pic is 17:55. So, we're supposed to meet the Tall Man at that spot at 5:55pm Tuesday October 17th????

I would love to go but there is no way I can make it in 5 o'clock LA traffic. I guess we'll have to count on someone that lives on that side of town.

 		Hmm... other family members of the Sammeeeees have gone missing already.
Betty lost Barney. Trinket lost Tutu.
There's no definite connection in the story to suggest that Spoocheeeees (I giggle everytime I write that) have them, but it is suspicious.

If Ben is sent there, could we at least insist that he go with a group, perhaps accompanied by his Aunt Jayne?

We have a week to figure this out.....lets see if we can trust TMann first. It seems he might be helping us out but I'm not going to hold my breath yet. And I don't want to put Ben in danger. We might be able to have him hide and take pictures without meeting the guy.

Does anyone in UF live near SM? Celina is down in San Diego so that is more than 2 hours away (without traffic). There is one earthcam for the pier but not down at the site in the photos. And anyone there would be hard to see. http://www.westland.net/piercam/

 		I created a blog so I could message thetallman and found his email.

When I went to check the message's status I was able to roll over the "remind" button and see his address.

These are the opening lines to the hit 1960's song performed by Bobby Darin (emglish version of "La Mer" by Charles Trenet). More recently brougt to fame as the closing credit's song in "Finding Nemo", and a biopic about Bobby Darin starring Kevin Spacey.

It is also the name of the 12th episode in the "The X Files", and the song was featured prominently in it.

I believe it was concluded in that episode that it WAS the lyrics to Beyond the Sea... in French. Shannon remembers the words from somewhere. At the end of the episode she remembers it was in the closing credits of a translated version of "that cartoon fish movie." (or something like that)

On a side note, I will now be singing that song all day.
