I did note that the shopping cart doesn't work for any item which is going to make it difficult to sell anything on the site. Having said that, the book Halloween can be found on Amazon for $2.59 less than the Phoenix Fire shop sells it for.
I don't know if it's relevant or not, but the author of the book is Silver Ravenwolf and the Amazon excerpt says that she is from Pennsylvania where Frank Dawes recently moved. There is also a chapter of the book specifically entitled 'A Tour of Colonial Pennsylvania'.

Having been in on a few of these really grass roots efforts, I have never seen anyone come across a legitimate in-game site by googling for a company name. We always seem to find enough coincidences to think it may be in-game, but to date they never have been.
My guess is that, while it doesn't work at the moment, soon we will be able to access http://www.phoenixfire.tk
Call it a hunch .

I agree. While I'm fully aware what the code says, I thought it interesting that there was a book on there that specifically referenced Pennsylvania and it had something to do with psychic/spiritual type world that Miss Corinn appears to be part of.
This may have no bearing on the matter at all, but I'd rather post a comment than forget all about this and then see people running around in circles in a week's time because this information was missed and the plot becomes too segmented.
Also, while the site most likely has nothing to do with anything, it wouldn't take a rocket scientist to manually write the creation date comment in the code.

All good points stingray. I am not trying to discourage people from following whatever path they find themselves on. In games like this it is often more interesting than the game itself (at least at the moment).
I am simply relaying my experience and spec.
With that said... happy hunting!

Well, 9PM E.S.T works out at around 2-3am in the UK... Which is a shame because I need sleep tonight as I'm going to a friends gig tomorrow, so I won't be able to join you!

Hi, I have been watching, like a bat in the rafters
Dang, I thought it was only 1PM.
I might stay up, if I can keep my eyelids apart. Is the chat happening on that little shoutbox thing on the site, or somewhere else?

I'll try to make the chat. As long as my boyfriend hasn't co-opted the computer. Maybe I can find something on TV to amuse him...

Oh, Mr. ****, Miss Corinn believe you and your friends are looking a bit too much into the PhoenixFire Corporation! She thinks you can safely assume that Mr. Dawes has no connection to the PhoenixFire Corporation, and it does not really have anything to do with him.
Miss Corinn is concerned that Mr. Dawes will attempt to hijack the chat tonight, although she is not going to let him throw a monkey wrench into the works! The chat will continue. She is able to block users, so if Mr. Dawes shows up he will not be able to say much.
Well that seems to be that then. I'm confused as to why, if it's not to do with him, she mentioned it? It doesn't seem to be an anagram but I don't see why she'd throw in a red herring when the 'game' wasn't really moving in the right diretion in the first place.

Just in from Cleo's doppelganger:
Miss Corinn does see something in your future. She is getting a strong sense of the color red, and the number 24. You will know this when it comes, she think.
Thank you and write again!

Red and 24, a clue maybe?

Maybe you should go buy a red shirt to wear while buying a lottery card! Good luck with the chat tonight.

Miss Corinn thinks you should catch up on sleep and perhaps some work you have been putting off. It will help you immensely.
She actually speaks some sense as well...
