[NEW WEBSITE] [SPOILER] www.re-cedasrevenge.com A link has appeared on receda school of music to this website.
I know the other website was a spoiler, but somethings happening tonight, which makes me wonder whether we were meant to find this website by hacking, or it really is the answer to the sleep institute puzzle

I like how they've put a hyphen in the receda part of the URL so it couldn't be found through a whois search.
I'm guessing we weren't supposed to have done that the last time.

I'm guessing that they're reacting to us not figuring out the last clue and altering the trail to account for it, bringing the next step closer so we don't lose momentum. FWIW, I think we're going to have to pretend we found this officially and just go with it, there isn't time now to find it any other way.
Also, do you think they could make the time any clearer? Guess they learnt that one.

Oooh, this page is delightfully cheesy...puts me in mind of all of those "Quest" games I played back in my younger days. *bounces with retro-gaming anticipation* I really hope they don't just point to another website!
I agree with PP--looks like they're altering the trail to accomodate our difficulty with the Somnatherapy clue and our early finding of the School of Music page, to keep us from losing our momentum. While I do hope that we figure out what we missed at the coordinates, the trail moves onward, folks!

My hopes for this are a classical adventure game. As for how it was found, it looks like we have around 6 hours to either find the music site 'officially' or just continue regardless.
Quite what defeating 'Ye evil Lord Flaganroth' has to do with a music tutorial I have no idea, but it should be fun anyway.

Looks like there are rules up on the site, a text adventure after all. but one where we can watch a person play and give them advice.

Welcome to Receda's Revenge! This is Eclipse Disc's newest text adventure game, incorporating consensual multiplayer participation and the latest experimental natural language processing system. If you are unfamiliar with these features, read on.
Like normal text adventure games, Receda's Revenge only allows a single person to 'drive' the game at any one time, in #receda-game. Unlike them, however, other players can watch and offer advice to the 'driver' until their turn comes around to play. Advice can be offered in a separate area, #receda-chat.
If you would like to take the controls of the game, you will need to join the player queue. To do this, send a private message to the user RecedaBot with the word "queue". To send this message, use the command:
/msg RecedaBot queue
and you will be added automatically. You may only be in the queue once at a time.
Our experimental natural language processing system gives players more freedom within the game world, by interpreting the meaning of commands. The usual commands which work in all text adventures are available, such as:
n
s
e
w
inventory
get (object)
hit (person)
You can also ask questions to non-player characters such as bartenders, and get an intelligent reply. Due to the high processing load this places on our system, you may expect delays in responses, although we aim to keep these down to a minimum.
Finally, if you are stuck in the game, please just type hint, and the game will attempt to give you relevant and useful advice.
Enjoy RECEDA'S REVENGE!

Looks cool, but it's in the middle of my work day. Darn. Guess I'll try to monitor the progress
I wonder how long this will be up.... Is anyone planning to log it?

Hmmm... a delay while someone at Mind Candy types a response methinks!

aw. text adventures are heartwarming. Who's going to drive?
Eclipse Disc is in the artists area, I believe - Aiko lives there, anyway. Funny that this is their current level of game there.

We can only assume so. Odd how they haven't waited until we *found* it before moving on.

I wonder if this might not help us toward the solution to the Sleep Therapy puzzle. Maybe it will direct us toward a real world place?
