 		Yea, what if it's maybe a time part in one of his videos? Like something important at 8:32...Just a guess

 		That was a good guess but all his vids are under 8:32... Hey I'm guessing just like you are i'm trying to play the devils advocate as it were till we figure out the code. I ran it through all the programs I have and got nothing. I hope someone figures it out...i kinda suck at codes... but I'm learning

I might agree if it was one word and a 8:32 ...but what does the second word mean??


I agree, it dosent have to be a bible verse. Thats why I wrote " If this is another bible quote ....... "

I did think it might be a time but couldnt figure out how it would apply. There are time stamps in the video with his victims. I wonder if any are 8:32 or if one of the dates is 23:8 day/month ?


My other question about the tags was in reference to this code also. I was wondering if anyone thought it might be a clue was to how we should figure this one out. As in the "Thats odd" comment the CM left to figure out a previous code.

 		According to the wiki article on Numerology
here, if we take the number place of the letters and add them we get

VMRLFFS - 22 + 13 + 18 + 12 + 6 + 6 + 19 = 96 % 9 = 6

8:32 - 8 + 3 + 2 = 13 % 9 = 4

BWDJFVS - 2 + 23 + 4 + 10 + 6 + 22 + 19 = 86 % 9 = 5

The % means Modulus which is a faster way of arriving to the single digit answer. So according to those three digits and referencing them to the chart on the page we get,

# 4. Creation.
# 5. Action.
# 6. Reaction/flux. Responsibility.

I mean they could all mean something but I'm not sure if this was just a reach.

This code at the end is causing us a lot of frustration as well. Our current theory is that the flower at the end with the code is some kind of a clue, but we have no idea what it is. The tag code might also be related. If you can give us any ideas, we'd greatly appreciate it.

I wondered about that. There are 2 images of sunflowers. A large sunflower that appears on the frame then a small one as the words on the paper fades away.

 		I was just watching it again, and I'm not sure but has anyone mentioned this?



It looks like a code, possibly "EEFP."

Also, while rewatching it I noticed the apple had a bite in it at the end, as if to symbolize that someone bit the Apple of Sin maybe?

As for the sunflowers, I'm not quite sure what they symbolize. I looked up the words "Sunflowers meanings" in order to see if Sunflowers perhaps had some known symbolism and I came across this webpage, http://www.angelfire.com/journal2/flowers/s1.html, which has a part on sunflowers from Greek Mythology. Specifically,

Do you think that the story of Clytie might actually be the one referencing the Codemaster? Perhaps, he's Clytie and the girl is Helius who chose Eric instead of him.

I found a couple of things

From Wikipedia:
The florets within this cluster are arranged spirally. Typically each floret is oriented toward the next by approximately the golden angle, producing a pattern of interconnecting spirals where the number of left spirals and the number of right spirals are successive Fibonacci numbers. Typically, there are 34 spirals in 1 direction and 55 in the other; on a very large sunflower you may see 89 in one direction and 144 in the other.

It has to be simpiler than this too. I think Im streaching to far.

There are no vowels in the letters, I dont see how this could work. Maybe it is something similar. Hope it sparks an idea in someone.

 		Been lurking for a while...very new to ARGs.

I wouldn't even know where to begin with the codes, but something strikes me as odd:

I thought that Eric's wallet was found at his apartment (or so I think from the first of his father's messages). I'm assuming as no mention of the fact that the wallet was empty means that his wallet had all his usual stuff in it. Where then did Codemaster get the ID cards and other stuff that appear in the "Still Life..." video?

Maybe I missed something...

 		That's true, in the video they do say he left his wallet behind. How did the CM get it then? I would figure that if they found the wallet the parents would hold on to it, so the idea of the CM breaking into Eric's House for his wallet is out of the question.

 		Because he is a close member of the family somehow. Thats how he got the wallet. but the only people other than his family in the pics are Jimmy an asian and a big black guy in the diving pic. both are too dark to be the CM. Plus Jimmy is smaller than Eric. The codemaster is bigger. Hes gotta be related somehow.

Yeah, but the wallet was found at the apartment. His father made no mention of the contents being missing. So how did they appear in the video.

How were they obtained? Are we looking at him stealing them from Eric's father AFTER Eric was kidnapped? If so, we're talking somebody who either had unimpeded access to Eric's father's house and KNEW where to find the wallet, or there was a break-in at Eric's father's house.

I PM'd Eric's father to ask him to clarify if the wallet was in fact empty when he found it at Eric's apartment. Will post reply (if I get one).
