"Jesus he no hater" just made my morning. Seriously, I am sick and exhausted and do not want to go deal with evil teenagers but now, when I get down, I will just think "Jesus, he no hater!" and everything will be okay. Thank you.

binary

excellent stuff, i aim to please (or "to email as pie" if you will).

ive tried the binary idea that cortez said. assuming the different gaps between clicks are 1's and 0's, with the bigger "blue" gap in the middle of the diagram as a space, the numbers i get are 26 and 61 (or 229 and 2, if you invert them).

had a look at morse code too, but there are just so many possible permutations of letters with the small soundwave snippet in the diagram, let alone the rest of the message. you would need a computer program to sift through it (and then you would probably have to ROT it as well). nightmare.

i thought that these clicks could be related to the clicks heard in the "you will see eveerything" video earlier on, but they dont even sound similar.

hmmm. ponder ponder ponder.

Throwing out more thoughts~

The attached images are how the sounds look like in time domain (ordered from top to bottom, and then Part1 to Part2). The sharp lines are the "taps".

When the speech is loud it's hard to see the spikes... And also there are taps less than 0.12s apart. Trying to identify a binary sequence seems to get harder and harder.

I did find some info on encoding binary data in an audio file though. http://www.codeproject.com/csharp/steganodotnet15.asp
And here's a decoder for it: http://www.paulschou.com/tools/xlate/

Anyway, what if we only count how many taps there are in between the longer pauses? Okay, actually it still seems pretty hard... Sad

I have been looking very closely at the clicks on the audio file. They seem to me to bear no relation to binary at all. SOrry if this is stating the obvious, but I'm really stumped on this.

Maybe some kind 'guest' will come along and post a clue to at least give us a chance. Failing that, Odina Nova starts again soon Wink

It seems to me that if we are well and truly stumped, the thing to do would be to make some indication of that on the find eric taylor board, like...I don;t know, ask there if anyone's worked it out. I think we'd have better success hoping for a hint there than just hoping someone breaks TOS here.

maybe while we're there we could ask the codemaster to show us another video of eric, you know - just to prove hes okay etc. there might be some hints dropped then without us having to ask for any directly.

Of course the clicks could be just a red herring - he knows that we're likely to pour over everything and try to find meaning in the clicks and maybe he's just having a joke.

Did anybody try the number at the end of the voice-message to see if it's a legitimate company or another step in the 'game'.

EDIT: I did just that, and it appears to be a totally automated voice-mail service, which is authentic.

Stumped.

I agree with asking the Codemaster for help. If we're truly stumped then we should ask for a bit of assistance so we don't keep running around in circles with these puzzles.

I've asked him all kinds of questions he has never responded to any. except the time I sent him a nasty e-mail about why he could never get his videos out on time... He responded
Quote:
Subject: I did as I said I would
Message: I gave Eric the decided item on the 30th. Then it took me a few days to put the video of the results together. I got it out as quickly as I could.

CM

I guess his videos do take time to edit... the last one probably took a whole lot of time to make, with all the special effects.
lol I even asked what software he used to edit the movies ...noreply... I hope when all this is over he will tell me what software he uses

I just posted a message on the finderictaylor forum asking for guidance.

We'll see what happens...if none comes then I guess this game is dead unless anyone can have an epiphany.

dont trout me, but one of the anagrams of "sue hart see john" was "jesus or heathen". on a serious note, do you think this is a coincidence?

edit: other anagrams - jesus he on earth, jesus hear he not, and (lol) jesus are teh hon

also, (massive OOG alert!)

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
as a PM i wouldnt want the game that i had dedicated my life to to fall apart, so i would probably release another clue somehow if people were stuck. in our case either the cm is about to do something or the clues are already there.

It seems like this ARG is a one man show, where as other ARG's at least seem to have a team. It seems with the team you can have someone play a character and interact with evryone and keep them busy, while the others are working the plot in the back ground.

This seems slow at times but the last post from Mr. Taylor was made on a Friday/Saturday it just seems long with nothing much to occupy us.

To fill and or kill time, we should be speculating on the videos and stuff on FindEric.com

One thing we didnt figure out was what the number 13 had to do with anything.

What do you think of the sermon ? Was the CM trying to get us to listen to the parts he was not tapping in? Was he trying to get us to pay attention to the parts he was tapping in? Do you think the tapping was a code we have not figured out ?

Who could Sue Hart be ? I say first female listed in the CM's resume. Is it the girl in the video? Is it a new lead to a new live character? (we need to search blogspot/youtube/wikipedia for a sue hart stuff)

The CM said "it has killed before" is he refering to himself ?
What if Eric did the killing and the CM is just exposing it?

In his resume, we have only seen one person burried, there is one person in the pics with closed eyes and clearly abused, but the rest look at least alive at the time of the pic. Do we assume them all dead? Could they have just been just stalked. Maybe stalked, captured and released. What if thats the resume is of the people he has "saved" ?

Are you allready a Christian?
Do you think you will be saved by the end of this story?

Ok, back to the games rumors and diversion list .... hmmmm ooh that bristolgoodman thing looks cool ......

As I was reading your post, I got to thinking. We are assuming that killing people might be his way of "saving" them. What if perhaps by scaring them and making them vie for their life, he's showing them the value of life. Maybe it's just me hoping to hit a note that will help us move on with the story. I don't know, I get a feeling like the CM might be a lot like the Puppet Master in SAW...

Llama, trust me, Bristol Goodman is NOT the game you want for relieving you of the frustration of being stuck and waiting for a clue. Heck, at least here we know what we're stuck on--over at BG we haven't had developments in, like, a month.
