figured out the first puzzle:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
each string of letters represents the first letter in each word in the first line of a christmas carol, so for example: #5 is SNHN - "silent night, holy night"

I've got all but number 19. Any hints?
(...and who agrees that Holly made a typo in number 12? Maybe hit the "S" key along with the "A" key? That's elf fingers for ya.)

well Snowball isn't answering any email... I've got all the answers (checked and rechecked), and I emailed about an hour ago (and again just now), but I'm not getting any reply.

I can't get number 19 either...another typo perhaps? If anyone gets it, a hint would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT: bah, nevermind....never even heard of that one

My research tells me 19 should be ITBM-w/FWMM but it's still obscure.
And yes, i agree 12 should be OHNTSABS

Some versions have the first ending with ITBM-WLLA. That's what I'm going with.

Yes.
Or, ITBM(W)LA - the last line works but there's only one L, unless it's another version or something that has the same L twice, but that might not work with the music (which I've never heard)

I found some with the L repeated, yeah. Not that I've heard the song either.

*sigh* I used one of two possible names (what I thought was more common) for one of the songs, so I've been sitting for 3 hours wondering what's up. Now that I gave Snowball both, I'm finally moving on...
ETA: and of course, they didn't send the password over for puzzle 2, so I'm waiting once again for another email... *sigh*

Are those for the first puzzle? I need 2 and 4 on the second puzzle (in the quotes part).
Thanks, though!

I'd help, but I don't know the password to the second puzzle because I don't like emailing from work.
