Gandalf, I think you're incorrect about the first one, since 'ono' is grouped together in one bubble, I believe they're not meant to be split apart.

New Blog from 11-29-06. It's some ofthe Prof.'s old notes from his encounter in the Ayer house I believe it is. Sounds like he's met Tom and his twin as well. Very well.

The poet Rumi was confirmed to be 'close' to the alternate meaning of RUMI that the professor mentioned. See my post on #10 and the confirmation on #13 (My real name is Kelly btw): http://descry.us/blog/?p=3#comments

The spellings of the poet's name differs from source to source. I was really hoping that this was going to take a turn towards the sacred geometry in Rumi's poems, but the only mention of that was during the online RUMI test. During the experiement after Raphael was down, Professor Erikson stated:

"Raphael's life signs are erratic. His heartbeat is fluctuating in a pattern resembling a Fibonacci sequence."

This I found to be extremely odd, and no one has ever really elaborated on it. The Fibonacci sequence represents the pattern of life, and it also creates a unique spiral similar to that of a nautilus' shell. For those that may not know, the Fibonacci sequence is 1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55... and so on, adding the previous two numbers together gets you the next one in the sequence.

I say the Fibonacci sequence is the pattern of life because taking any two contiguous numbers and dividing them together will get you the number phi. For example, 55/34 will get you 1.617647, which is pretty close to the nonterminating value of phi. Phi is considered to be the golden measure, and that the beauty of phi exists within all of nature. For example, measure the entire leangth of your arm. Then divide that length by the length from the tip of your middle finger to your elbow. The resulting value should be pretty close to phi. This 'golden measurement' is present everywhere in life if you are willing to look for it. I have no clue, however, on the effects of such powerful values on 5th dimensional beings.

All of that aside, the poem that may have come out of the RUMI device may be along the same lines as the original Rumi's poems and the principles of Sufism which is that all things must revolve or spin. I've connected this theory with the idea of the dragon that eats its own tail.

The ouroboros is also a symbol of this revolving motion, connecting the beginning to the end. "Other symbols include the cycle-like nature of the universe. (Again the idea of a revolving motion as in Sufism). For instance, in the beginning, there is chaos. The head is biting the tail, thus symbolizing chaos. After a while, the chaos subsides and leaves peace. This is the middle of the dragon can be thought of as peace. Finally, the end comes and chaos is at hand again, thus symbolized by the tail, which has been bitten. And so on and so forth..." In order to break these cycles of death, the beginning must now be seperated from the end, or we could have to "return to the beginning" by "returning to the end".

Sorry, for going off on a tagent like that. I was just really hoping that we would begin to see the affects of symbols on the 5th dimension rather than simply communicating with the spirits, and, in my opinnion, the idea of sacred geometry as used in both the Fibonacci sequence and the beliefs of Sufism with the whirling dervishes who base their dance on the poems of one of the greatest poets, the orignal Rumi, are some of the most interesting attempts of humanity trying to grasp the concepts of these higher dimensions.

*The above was posted before the actual revelation of the poem that came out of the RUMI device. This simply my own fanciful hypothesis of some unanswered questions.

Strangely the Div board is still up, so I wonder what unlocking this puzzle will do?

It sounds like there will be another test using RUMI (and a live chat in the same chatroom as before?) on Tuesday morning at 10 EST. Seeing as what happened last time, we should expect some pretty strange stuff to happen

I won't make the chat, as will have to be in work, which sucks.

So we have 3 things to solve in the meantime, Raph's 3rd puzzle & the two poems.

I thought One might be linked to the ages of deaths, but it isn't:

IRS connection

I think your onto something there Alasdair. Could it mean the address of the IRS building in Washington DC in Pennsylvania Avenue and 10th Street? Haven't thought much further than this. Must get on.

Quick thought: could the numbers point to a map location?

Two could be The Big House = prison, which kinda ties in with other stuff. Can't be that Spiro Agnew never went to prison. Must be something around the IRS.

Still no leads on One, or Raph's page.

EDIT: One could be Nagasaki, it ties in with the millions of funeral bells, and Wiki says the bomb exploded 43 seconds after it was dropped. Can't find anything that links with the rest of it.
