I've been working on a Lanti-to-English translator and finally had some time to finish it. You can find it at
http://lanti.fridgesoft.de/
There are 2 modes: The first one translates any Lanti text to English (at least as far as the words are known). The second one is meant to simplify speculative deciphering of the language: You can see all known texts and words including word frequency and then modify single translations to see the effect on the texts.
Currently it's read-only, so you cannot add new texts to the database. If you want write access, please send me an e-mail. I won't be giving them out to everyone though, the script is a bit of a hack at the moment.
I opened this thread so that if you have suggestions on what to improve or what to add, we can discuss them here.

corrections fragment, once again thanks for the excellent translator.
However, there are a few of things that need to be corrected:
1.these are from the Yshk La page look at the java page and zoom if necessary and you'll see what i mean.
remove alad and up the count on aladi to (5)
lankal should be lankala
nerken should be nerfen
renal should be renel
2. here are some words to add from one of Bryan's emails
defsh = more
iykesh = thank
neshtal = indeed
tyld = ?? could be Story
uik = so

Re: corrections Sylvia, I updated the text and word lists. I just copy & pasted them from the wiki, so maybe someone could update the wiki, too.
"alad" is from undertanding.jpg, and IMHO there is no "i". Might be a mistake, but who knows.

Never mind, it's great so see someone cares enough to check for errors, make corrections etc.
BTW, if you need an English -> Lanti word list, I could implement that quite easily. I just thought it wouldn't be necessary. An English -> Lanti automatic translation is probably not very useful unless we figure out a lot more of the words, what to with different declinations etc.

I agree fragment, but if you have the time and want to that would be ok, but like you said at this point it may not be necessary.
But I love what you have done so far and it really helps to translate those words faster and to make guesses.
I just did the above so we could give them back a dose of their own medicine. for example I'm going to try and write bryan or yshklanti an email using as many of those words as I can.

Ok, since I was already thinking about it, I considered I might as well implement it . It's on the Lantilator page under "Word List".

Update Just a small update, I added a box to the English -> Lanti word list so you can write small texts in Lanti by clicking on the English words. Maybe someone finds it useful for email or IM.

wow fragment, that is totally cool. Thanks and more thanks.
I don't have any way of confirming it, cause I can't get up with Jetamo but he popped into chat this morning and said that Bryan confirmed tyld = child.
Quote:
[13:44] <Jetamo> News!
[13:44] <Jetamo> Tyld = child
[13:44] <Jetamo> says Bryan.
[13:45] <Sylvia> wow
[13:45] <Sylvia> cool
[13:45] <jwiv> nice
[13:45] <Jetamo> so "Ny Tyld Di Lanti" means "The Child Of Atlantis
I updated the list above, so you might want to update the LantiLator also fragment.

Now that we have the font, I added a clickable character map. It's not exactly the original because it's a commercial font, but should be good enough.
