Hm... then what's the password? The ones we talked about already aren't working.

Btw, this image and this image changed.

EDIT: so did this one.

EDIT 2: I think there is another image in each one of them. Can anyone one with a... what is it - a hex editor?.. see if there is anything that can be extracted?

Do anybody have the previous versions? If yes, we might substract one from another and see what we can get.

EDIT: ha, they're copied in the previous posts. very well, I'll try.

EDIT2: hm, nothing much. The image with flower contains our old 1-11 date, the second with DNA thing something like T and rotated P... aside from this obvious artefact, nothing interesting popped up. Hmmm.

Here is result from substraction of first two images: http://www.lisak.org/nevec_nimg.png

Maybe it inspires somebody...

Also note that it's really T P in the image, not Tb - serif would look slightly different for small b

If you open one of the newer graphics in notepad, for example, you can see that it looks drastically altered compared to its older version: it starts with a normal "JFIF" thingie, then, if you scroll down past the image name, you can see another "JFIF" tag (before all the extra Adobe stuff and empty space) - which is, if I remember correctly, indicative of there being an image within an image. I am not sure that that second image (if I am correct, and it is another image) can be extracted with an image-editing program - I think you have to copy all the stuff starting with the second "JFIF" and save it as a separate file. Or something like that... I don't know if bit-subtraction will show you that hidden image as opposed to just the difference between the two existing images. I'm sure somebody around here can correct me (as in, please do!)

Also, re: the letters - they look like either of these cyrillic characters: ГБ or гь (you can copy them into word and change font to see what they would look like with serifs).

Ah, yes, that does make a whole lot more sense than cyrillics.

One possible thought. According to some of the sigs on the Lost Planet forums, the game appears to be coming out on 1/12. Maybe something big is going to happen the day before it comes out? Hence the 1-11?

The braille states:

The extra embedded images appear to just be thumbnails. I pulled two thumbnails out of the ter_acs_graphic_1.jpg. The thumbnails are identical to themselves and are just a smaller version of the larger picture. As the original file didnt appear corrupt, I can only guess that this is an artificat from whatever photo editing software was used - unless the creators are really knowledgable about how to embedded pictures without goofing up the original.
