Hi.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

TEACH ILLOGICAL HORDES

=

GHIRADELLI CHOCOLATES

Notice the misspelling (there should be another R).

I hope to join you guys in playing, despite jumping in kind of late!

Did you inform him about the suspected attack? If yes, how did he react?

No we didn't. Perhaps someone should mention it next time they speak to him. I'll do it next time he's on.

Baffled as to what the answer to the anagram is. The area is a supposed San Francisco landmark, however everything I have read on it have said it is somewhat disappointing. I can't imagine why he would tell us this, anyone have any ideas?

Well... I'm going to be heading home for Christmas vacation in a week and will be 40-60 minutes away from SF. But I'm definitely not going unless we know there's actually something there to be looking for.

Just a reminder that the weightlessness event at the Tourbit website is scheduled to run tomorrow between 6pm and 10pm.
I'll be there.

Edit: Thats today folks! (Tuesday the 12th)
Edit Again: Nothing so far, so the times are probably screwy some how....

i am glad SOME people actually noticed this ARG.

i havent seen it on joystiq, even though I submitted this after the 2nd and 3rd clip on XBL appeared.

i am SO impressed by the mass of work done so far. now that i've seen more people on this and doing well, consider me a part. granted, i work 9 hours a day and can't access most pages, I'll definitely keep a watch afterwards.

I am TOO pumped for this game!

Hey, got the account to work! I was formerly guest posting as "Argo"... Long story...

Anyways, put together an Excel sheet that will convert any text string into a number string the same as Alfred's and will also convert the number strings back into text. I am no expert programmer, but it gets the job done.

I don't know if this will actually be needed, but you never know if we will get another message.

Note: Your macro security cannot be on high, as it is run in Visual Basic. Let me know if there are any problems!

New Alfred Post!

After sending an IM to him containing the words "Ghiradelli Chocolates", Alfred replied and, after being asked, had a new blog entry pop up. That would make the "Teach Illogical Hordes" anagram officially solved (Special thanks to Ofiuco for discovering that one). The chocolate is also mentioned in the article.

There is a few good tidbits throughout the blog update, but it will need some analyzing. There is, yet again, a message in the source code.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
My snow pirates!

This one is harder to find as it is in with the article text.

Click here to jump to Alfred's Site

Also, there is a new post at the ARTP site for December. Related to Alfred's post. Click here to get there quick. New message in the source as well:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
!-- Don't worry, we will work out the bugs with the tiny toaster. --

Read blackhawk's post below for a very likly explaination...
