Jean Moulin is the GREATEST!!!!!

After Helen's cry for help last night I pondered how we could save her. And thought to reach out to our own dashing hero!!!!! Would he be able to come to the rescue? (After all, wasn't it he who masterminded the escape of Timothy Mann?????)

I just got this missive:
-------------------
My dear Heather,
Russell is back with bad news. We are leaving at once. It was his
cousin on the telephone. His cousin telephoned to say the men in
black were outside his house insisting they enter the garage. Russell
is worried for his cousin, Lawrence. I am too. We will contact you
when we reach the next hotel. Russell is yelling to me to leave now.
Goodbye, dear.

Best wishes,
Mrs. Paul Foucher
-------------------

Meanwhile, Patricia Moore has quickly notified me that Mr Alan Johnson
is directing his team via the phone.

We cannot let that piece fall into Spoocheeeee hands. I'm not sure
what Russell (a nice young man, but not on par with Spoocheeeee
jackals - unless there is something we do not know about him) can do
against the trained slaves of Otis Corporation.

Do you have friends in London???? Or did you anticipate this problem
and already have arrived?????

Hello to you, Heather! It is me! The One and the Only Jean Moulin! I am sorry to take so long to answer your letter to me! I have been traveling! Ah! Yes! Can you guess where I may be? I am in London! They love Jean Moulin in London! Already 100 hundred strangers have stopped to smile at me. I know what they say..... They say with their eyes, "You are the most handsome! Your hair is so brave! Your teeth..... they sparkle so, I am nearly blinded!" I am here to protect our friend, Mrs. Paul Foucher. I will not allow anyone to touch her! I will risk all to keep her from the clutches of Mr. Alan Johnson and his Spoocheeeee Jackals! Do not alert Mrs. Paul Foucher that I am near! She is so filled with the love for me that she may make a risk to see me! I must stay under the cover! I have the room next to Mrs. Paul Foucher and Russell. I can hear them! They are playing cards and drinking tea. If anyone comes near, I shall stop them! Because I am the One and the Only Jean Moulin! I am very handsome standing here in this room in the Claridge Hotel, Heather! This room is almost as beautiful as me!
I am the One and the Only
Jean Moulin

I was wondering what happened to the ceramic piece. Last I recall, Russell mentioned keeping it in the bag, inside Box 1984. So I emailed him this morning:

Thank you again for all your help with the retrieval of this box and it's contents. And for risking your life to keep it out of the hands of Otis Corporation jackals. And for keeping Mrs Paul Foucher out of harms way. I am hoping some friends of mine have a backup plan to help protect you.
Is your cousin okay? Did you get the ceramic piece out of Box 1984 so you can still get it to Jenna tomorrow? Once it's out of your posession, then Otis Corporation should have no further reason to bother you. In fact, we are hoping that soon there will be no more Otis Corporation (that is our common goal).
Meanwhile, please do not answer the phone, do not converse with strangers, and hold off on the theatre until that piece is safely with Jenna.
Hugs!
Heather

I just got this reply (guess they are up late, must be after midnight in London)

Heather,
Don't worry. I have the ceramic piece in the hotel room desk. It is in its little bag and taped to the bottom of the drawer for safe keeping. We are not answering the phone or calling out. My cousin is fine but they took the box 1984 from his garage. We had one man come to our door today but he seemed harmless. He had this ridiculous french accent and a big smile and apologized for having the wrong room. He then asked me if I thought he was handsome. I nodded and told him, "Yes." This seemed to satisfy him. I shut the door and we haven't been bothered since. I will meet Jenna at 11 am in Covent Gardens.

When I spot her, I will ask, "Do you hear the people sing?"

She must reply "It is the music of a people -- Who will not be slaves again!" I will then give her the ceramic piece.

Russell

So much for Jean Moulin keeping a low profile. Laughing

I love Jean Moulin Smile I can't imagine him keeping a low profile. He will protect Mrs. Foucher!

I think this is a lovely ending for piece #4

Quote:
My dear Dashcat,

I wanted you to be the first to know, that last evening I heard Fantine sing my song again! Russell and I snuck out of the hotel, in disguises no less, and made our way to the theatre. We had wanted to exchange our tickets for another time but the theatre was very sticky about this. Russell was very nervous. I convinced him that we were at risk anywhere and then we decided we would go and have a grand time. We did! The entire evening was better than a dream. This cast in Les Miserables is wonderful! (Fantine was good but not a touching as you sweet young people.) I believe Russell was very touched by the play. There was one odd coincidence last evening. The man with the silly French accent that came to our hotel suite door was sitting directly behind us. We worried a little about him, but he smiled so nicely, we knew it must have just been a wild coincidence. I know you were all worried about us venturing out last night, and I'm sorry we didn't tell you. We knew it would only make you fret. And see, all is well! Russell is back from meeting sweet dear Jenna and you have the ceramic piece.

I wish you all love and happiness on your journey. Thank you for holding my hand while I walked out my door and back to life.

Best wishes,
Mrs. Paul Foucher
