Don't know whether it helps at all, just responding with what comes to mind when I read the clue . . . there's a 'Bastard Prince' in UK history, Henry VIII's lost son Henry Fitzroy, who was later made Duke of Richmond.

I don't know how this factors into anything, but just thought I'd mention it.

Ok, the reason behind my knowledge of this is sensitive at the moment, so i'm not going to tell you, but I can confirm beyond a shadow of a doubt that both Phil and Brackin were seen in Texas, near the border.

just a nudge in the right direction. I might be able to give my reasons later, but for now, they are on lockdown. Very Happy

OK, Alex just gave the second half of the Phil stuff. Yeah, apparently there's a second half.

Quote:
The man of Gold is proud and vain
His greed shines with no apology
His gluttony and lust are unslaked
The bastard prince of Deus returns in time

He has many names they will call him
Caligula Agustus Nero Esau and Cane
But he is the Filmore man creature
And his many pleasures are known to all

Thought: Caligula Augustus Nero Esau and Cane seems like too much to be a coincidence.

EDIT---more from Alex on the folio
Quote:
I got mine
from my father. Well more precisely one of his private manuscript
collections. He always loved history. I had forgotten about it until a
few weeks ago when I was packing up his things to put into storage.

He kept it in a shadow box on his office wall. Had it, well ever since
I can remember. He used to read it to me when I was a kid and tell me
it was his most valuable possession and five centuries old. I bought
into it because I was young and stupid.

It sounds just like the kind of thing Brackin would love to get his
grubby hands on. Too bad its a clever fake, huh? Either way I'm pretty
sure I know what the two of them talked about in that office the night
before he left. The day before he died.

Damn. I think I give up.

Another set. Caligula, Augustus and Nero were all Roman emperors. Esau is a Biblical character, though :/

Esau traded his birthright for a mess of pottage.
Filmore = Phil Moore Shocked

Okay, not sure where to consolidate information on finding Phil. Might start a new topic, but for now I'll keep this here.

I asked Bishop if he could find out, through records or something, where Phil was right now. His reply:
Bishop wrote:
Pre war? Not a chance. Plus Senator Moore keeps pretty much to himself from what I hear.

So Phil's a Senator in 2037! Hardly a huge surprise, but still not what I was expecting.

Hehe, so we just get in contact with him in 2037 and ask him where he was 30 years ago.... easy as pie :/

Perhaps a mod could split this discussion on finding Phil into its own thread? Until then...

I replied to Bishop, basically saying "Huh, I didn't know Phil was a Senator in your days" and got this...
Bishop wrote:
How the hell could you not? He's got a damn Disney Caligula going over there in yellow... er wait a minute. You ARE yellow... Uh...
BYE

It seems like I've lost a friend because of my karma Sad But still, Disney Caligula? Anyone know what that might mean?

Caligula was an insane Cesar in Rome.

He turned the wifes of all senators into prostitutes, made his own horse senator, fathered a daughter that he decreed was a boy, and I think he might have had sexual relations to his own sister at one point, although im not too clear on that last one.

Watch the movie with Malcom McDoval as Caligular, good fun.

Dut what a disney caligula is... Maybe a corporate slightly clean scrubbed version of hell?

Cool history lesson email from Brackin. Wicked sweet.

Quote:
Thank you. Then it is time...

You should know that in my time hiding I was with a group of men and women that have watched and waited for the interface for a very long time from their hiding places in many major cities in the Western world. While with them, they explained a number of things to me which I will now relate to you. Understand this: I'm not crazy, but I don't mind my enemies thinking that I am. It is time for trust and cooperation now. It's time for the REAL quest to begin.

1566 The first "temporal scientist" Nostradamus dies

1568 His son Caesar Publishes his memoirs as a "prophecy" in hopes of concealing it in plain sight, His apprentice James Chavingy sets up a workshop in his name thus forming the first brotherhood of Nostradame known by them as the "Sodalitas Nostradamus" translated "Nostradame Sodality", which uses his secret techniques of "prophecy" (or should I say time communication?) To make predictions for nearly a century after his death.

1654 The "Folio of the Prophet" is completed just in time for the remnants of the Roman Inquisition to round them up and execute them as heretics. (the same thing that happened to Galileo and countless other scientists in that century) Only a handful of the brotherhood escaped and went into hiding, changing their name but vowing to protect the remnants of the folio until the time of the prophecy when the group could be reformed. Half of the "Folio" was destroyed, about a quarter put under lock and key at the Vatican, and another quarter mysteriously dissappeared. This quarter was mostly of the latter prophecies and were secreted away by the hidden brothers.

1937 Maxine DeSauch publishes a low profile campy book of prophecy with a number of surprising truths about the Sodality. This book catches the eye of a man who happens to have a very old parchment in his posession - a family heirloom and the man makes contact with the book's publisher. Others soon follow.

2006 I realized that I needed help if I was going to defeat Foo at his own game. I sought out my friends - David, Rose, and Alex... In so doing, fate took me to the doorstep of this group - to a man who was a member. Alex Wright Sr.. He dropped everything and risked all to hide me - to give me an untraceable route to safety and to find my own destiny - my own page of the folio. It got him killed.

I now need to know how many we have who are willing to take their own journey. for a while I doubted that I was myself in the future - but now you have given me the confirmation I needed. The folio WILL be recollected. We must find who has the pages and where they have been hidden. The task will not be easy, and If our secret is discovered then we may have to beat our enemies there... But we are destined to succeed brother, we are merely fulfilling our destiny.

I have said so myself.
