The Two Witnesses
1.I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, "Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, and count the worshipers there. 2.But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. 3.And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth." 4.These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. 5.If anyone tries to harm them, fire comes from their mouths and devours their enemies. This is how anyone who wants to harm them must die. 6.These men have power to shut up the sky so that it will not rain during the time they are prophesying; and they have power to turn the waters into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague as often as they want.

7.Now when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will attack them, and overpower and kill them. 8.Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city, which is figuratively called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. 9.For three and a half days men from every people, tribe, language and nation will gaze on their bodies and refuse them burial. 10.The inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and will celebrate by sending each other gifts, because these two prophets had tormented those who live on the earth.

11.But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and terror struck those who saw them. 12.Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here." And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.

13.At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14.The second woe has passed; the third woe is coming soon.
The Seventh Trumpet

I love revalations. That book makes no sense what so ever, but a good read.

This does tie in nicely with the angel/devil theme mentioned earlier on these forums.

Question is now if Brackin is the flamebreathing Olivetree or if Foo is... If any of them are.
It seems to me that Brackin has had a vision (and probably a very persuasive one) of his own death, atleast of the when.

I was asked the oracle question also and answered him:

Brackin has seen his death, and accepted it in my view. But he also knows (or think he knows) that he will die preventing a disaster, and thus his death is worth it. Otherwise knowing when you'd die would simply leave you apathic, not caring one way or the other...

I'm behind the man, but I can't let go of the feeling he's a "sacrificial lamb". An innocent person sent on a holy mission truely believing he does the work of god, only to find that he's working for the other side, and thus he brings about that which he tries to prevent.
I mean... If i was the devil, that's how I'd do it anyway Wink

 		I'll put $50 that Brackin is one of the two witnesses. (Its about time the religion major got put to use.) That would explain the death, both of the witnesses are martered when the anti-christ steps to power.

 		Good work on digging up the bible stuff btw Sampson!

I see my translation wsa quite off too, but i still claim i better than InterTrans.
Possibly both of them are Witnesses. The text never states that the two witnesses would be friends and allies. They just go about their buisness, breathing fire and turning water to blood.

The guys are recieving the same messages, but they are obviously interpreting it differently. Again, it's not completely against revelations (and could be why they are urging us to play both horses in this story).

I'm not buying this 100% myself; mostly because right now without an outer defined antagonist, story dynamics are better if these guys are oposed to each other.

But I'm with ya on the Adam = good guy (for now - I fear the SacLamb scenario).

Also the first man made by god was named Adam so the symbologi is there...
Do we have an Eve?

Also, do we have any leads to work on? or have we done all we can with the given information?
I still haven't been able to get anywhere with the "Sodality Prophet" angle.

I was bored at work, and thought that with all the recurrences of "11:11:11" that it might be worth a google. Found some interesting, if hokey, information. Here's a sample:
