I understand the frustration level, but really this isn't about being an "expert."

I just get a squicky feeling when I see players telling other players they "aren't suited" for ARGs or shouldn't be playing, or whatever, because it's different skillsets and different backgrounds and different approaches that make the community so strong. Okay? Everyone is welcome, and everyone can potentially contribute.

I'd like to clear things up or help if I can.

There isn't that much info out there actually.

2 factions.

a) Pro Brackin
b) Pro Foo

The ways to contact each is to be found here, in the forums. The easiest is through their respective blogs.

Further than that, you have tons of emails posted here that will explain the state-of-mind of each faction.
You have Brackins' philosophy and Foo's philosophy, 2 seperate threads on UnForums.


The Foo side has been given specific orders on how to share information IG, there are ways to contact the gatekeepers, and specific things have to be done. (again the HOW of this is written on these boards)


I have no idea about the brackin side except for OOG info I have read here. You know what? It does not feel like I'm missing a piece of the puzzle at all

Nothing is hard to find it's pretty much all here. Truth is we don't have that much info to go around.


The Foo side has a private chat room hosted by UnFiction and an ongoing email where we discuss things among supporters of The Way of Foo.
(some supporters are leaving our side btw)


The Brackins side has a private MySpace, probably a chat room and god knows what else, maybe a bunker!

Honestly, not knowing where they are hiding to plan the downfall of our Great Foo hasn't had an ounce of negative effect on the understanding of the story elements.

Brackin supporters are not hiding anything I think and I can assure you that Foo supporters are not keeping anything vital or important private. (except maybe the names and emails of our supporters)

Have I made mistakes ?
I'll correct the post if needed.

The only thing I could think of adding to the info would be each sides supporters emails, but that would be pretty boring and clutter the boards if you ask me


I can agree if we need to follow 865965 forums for each Faction in DC it'll get annoying, but as of now, everything you need can be found at UnForums. Some are making it out to be a tremendous amount of work to know what is going on and that's just not true. If it looks foggy, it's because it is foggy.

This is getting blown WAY out of proportion.

I'm not offended. I've played ARGs before with limited free time simply by keepin track of uF. That's why I love the single community aspect. Everyone with more free time posts a lot about what's going on and I can just read through that. Then I can follow their links to specific in-game websites that pique my interest.

This is a different style of play that works perfectly well and depends upon player cohesion rather than fragmentation. Thus my complaint.

Ok, just so If anyone cares. I updated the myspace page and is now open to the Public. So any and all who would like to check it out its available to everyone now. I will still be updating for use as a reference page. I think the PM's of DC pulled away from the secret conspiracy thing. So I don't see a need for the page to be private anymore.
