It's in the link I provided. I just did my research Smile

The link is broken - I tried from home and work

I got a message from Taylor, but given the craziness during Sammeeeees I'm not sure what to do. Do we share such things here? If we are vying for our own team, should we only share clues with our teamates? This is why I'm apprehensive about these kind of games.

I think it's up to you...

Next up is a location trial. Family representatives are supposed to go to the location represented in the Washburn solve: which would be The Whaley House in Old Town San Diego.

Not exactly sure what one is supposed to do there though. The title of the trail seems to indicate that we might have to find something about the Kumeyaay tribe in the area. Or maybe we are just supposed to go there and pay our respects to everyone who has died in the area.

So... Who'll be our in site player? It seems we'll need one for each location trial.

Oh, and I have a good idea. What if we solve things as if we were all one big happy family, and then, when we have an answer to a trial, we discuss which player was most valuable in solving it (we could even vote), and the family of that players gets to keep the points?

I dont know how well the location trials will work...Theres so few people playing that I'm not even sure there will be anyone who can go to these places, or at least there wont be an even spread of people from different families who will be able to do different location trials.

Meaning one family will always have an upper-hand if they happen to have a few people that are more able to visit different locations, regardless of whether they solved the lore trial first or not...which would obviously be unfair.

Maybe for that reason us uF'ers should have joined one family, but then there wouldnt be any other family group members.

I like your idea Ark. Thats possibly one way to solve the problems I highlighted.

That sounds like a good idea, but isn't it primarily uF'ers playing so far? Do we know if this has been dropped at any of the other sites?

Well, I think that the trail is going to be at many locations (possibly) around the country, I don't know if one family will always have the upper hand or not - it is going to be challenging to find someone in SD - I am wracking my brain and even checked Lovek's Frapper Map to see if anyone around here was in the city, no luck on that.

(hope you don't mind me pimping out your Frapper, Lovek)

I'm not sure where exactly you checked, but I see at least 2 people in San Diego on the Frappr map: Inju (who I don't know) and celina (who is usually quite game to go do stuff for ARGs). I've just been waiting for celina to show up in #uf to ask her if she wants to go on a live mission.

I'm just wondering why the photo of the "plaque" on Aunt Anna's website has flames on it though. I can't find a mention of a fire in the cemetery and but i haven't located that plaque on any of the surrounding landmarks websites either. hmm...

(scratches head)

Could they be leaves? I kept finding references to leaves rustling in some of the haunted sites when there was no wind, though no mention of it specifically at El Campo Santo.

I originally thought it was fire, then I zoomed in on the picture, and thought to myself...actually that seems to be leaves, or at least an attempt of making them look like leaves.

As for my clue equi, I just think that might be a good thing to research. I already researched it and found the amount of "ghosts" that would be around there, including one man who was hung at the Whaley house.

Interesting reading, even if its not the exact info Taylor wants Smile
