Any Aussies found Wave 4 stockists? I have been trying to find Australian retailers that will stock Wave 4 cards (either in the mixed or pure packs) on 31st July with no success.
Since MC have stated in the Sentinel that the Australian players will have to wait until 3am the next day (east coast) to solve the cards, I would have though that the cards would be avialble somewhere in the country.
I have asked the Australian distributor Croftminster via their 'Talk to Croftminster' forum here , but as yet haven't heard anything.
Has anyone else managed to find anywhere that sells Wave 4 in Aus?? If not, people may want to consider adding their voice to the above forum.
Cheers,

Well I've managed to find a retailer who is willing to get a box of cards on order but that is about it. The Online Games Centre in Ashgrove Brisbane will do it for $198 for the box.
He was a bit unsure about the Pure Wave 4 packs or the Mixed 1 - 4 Packs.
I can't afford an entire box at the moment, anyone in Brisbane (or outside) interested in splitting a Pure Wave 4 box, let me know.

Perth City Electronics Boutique are not aware of any incoming stock, though the person I spoke to indicated that they don't normally know what's arriving before it arrives.

Hey Kris
Unfortunately I wouldn't count on EB. If you have any specialised card/game shops in your local area (look on the buy cards part of the PXC website) I would contact them instead. That can still be very hard work as a lot of retailers won't get in less than a box.
I am going to have majorly resist tempation and hold back on getting cards until I get back from three weeks overseas.
Good luck

Well, they're the only place that I've found any stock at so far. I was going to write "they're the only ones that have even heard about it", but I literally had to point the salescritter to the packs in their cabinet and he had no idea what it was.

Would do if the main site was up.

Why would you do that?

Must say, love the avatar Krisjohn, obviosly another G.I.T.S. Stand alone complex fan.
Ambskunk, does your overseas trip not take you directly past any PXC card stockists???
BTW, orders are now being accepted for Wave 4 (preorder) packs at Firebox and ManleyM online stores. My orders are in, heres to hoping cards get out here on a reasonable time frame!

No, but Im not complaining in the slightest since we're going to the Seychelles and Africa (I don't think the game is big over there yet!)
Kris I'd give this guy a shot:
Al's Card Shop
Shop 3 Cine Centre Arcade,
Cnr Barrack and Murray Streets,
Perth
Phone ( 08 ) 9325 2333
I think if my local shop doesn't sell the individual packs when I get back I'll go for Firebox. Its too much effort otherwise.

Because I was twitching my way past EB the other day with the knowledge that they wouldn't have wave 4, my boyfriend suggested I check in with the Games Shop down the way. The girl I spoke to there wasn't sure, but she made a phonecall and afterwards said they would have them.
So. YAAAY! WAVE 4! I'll be in there on Sunday and I'll double-check then, but if they will be stocking them and you guys can't get them anywhere else, I'd be happy to purchase and mail you some.

Whey-hey! If all is good I might very take you up on that offer! Just to throw in a curve ball, do you know if they are getting the Pure Wave 4 packs or the Mixed Packs...
I'll contact Fastbreak in Brisvegas today but I'm not holding my breath that he'll be able to get the cards in. If not I'll be in touch....
Edit: Fastbreak says as far as he knows its not in the country. *Finding closest wall to smack head into*
Edit, edit: www.puzzlesdownunder.com.au in Coffs Harbour have pure Wave 4 cards on order which are due 'any day now'. If they are in on Monday, might be able to get them Tuesday.

Just a heads up to the Aussies here (I'm guessing this has been posted elsewhere) that Firebox have despatched Wave 4 orders (well, mine anyways), so if you are still wondering how to get them sometime next week, Firebox is probably a decent bet.

Today's Sunday and I'm going in an hour, so I'll doublecheck and get back to you. But..not surprised the Bananashop has them - it's where I bought my first pack. They're a fun shop, but also possibly best to order from - no international postage?

Man, at $8 a pack from these Aussie retailers, it is still HEAPS better to go through Firebox, IMO. Use a 5 pound voucher and THEY pay US to ship the cards! It cost about $50 australian for 8 packs delivered....or go through any Aussie retailer for ~$64 before delivery? I know which I'll be using....

I hadn't realised it was so bad! Maybe I'll Firebox anyway. Hm.
Went in today and talked to a different girl, who had less of a clue but assured me that the only person the other girl would have called for confirmation would have been the owner, who would definitely know.
Also went to EB, on the minute chance they wouldn't suck, but the guy went 'yeahsorryno, never'.

I've found that too, exchange rate plus retail markup just makes it to much imo.

Its definitely cheaper to Firebox, which I think I'll end up doing, unless you can find somewhere local that will get a box in for pick up (should be about $5.50 a pack). But then again a box of Wave 4 cards is a bit silly.
Just the fact that you can't (and not through a lack of trying) get the cards on the release date is a bit sad. It makes the statements in the Sentinel like 'Australian players will need to burn the midnight oil to start gaining points at 2am local time' a bit of a farce.
Oh well, good luck everyone and Firebox here I come...
