[DC][REF]The Cast and Events
Last Updated 12/10

I've been putting together a basic timeline / cast of characters and figured I'd put it up here. It's missing a lot of stuff, but should give a basic idea of what happened when. Added the narrative for those of you coming from argn, since the timeline isn't very accessible

A Narrative Retelling of our Story So Far
Adam Brackin, a UT-D student, is working on a dissertation dealing with the possibility of communicating with the future. The stalwart team of seven spend the summer preparing for an experiment to see if they can communicate with themselves a week in the future. Although the process is not really explained, it involves shooting a big laser at the moon. And anything with a laser is fine by me.

Anyway, Phil gets a phone call from somebody at this point, and he puts some fancy spy software on the project computers for his new mysterious and spooky masters. This deletes a GUI file and runs amok in a general sense.

The second-in-command on the project, Foo, stops coming in to work about three weeks before the test, although team members see him around and his work gets done. Finally, on 11/11/2006 at 11:11am, the team successfully communicates with the future. Specifically, 30 years in the fugure with Fujimoto, the leader of Deus City. He describes a wonderful world where information is free and life is just awesome.

Foo surfaces at this point and describes how he was locked in the server room at the time of transmission. In case you were wondering, Alex did it and goes on a total guilt trip. Most members of the project are locked out of accessing the data as a mysterious private investor buys out the project from UT-Dallas.

Further videos reveal a future where political office is determined by the size of your...company and residents have cutaneous chips installed. Two-way communication with the future is established, and we learn Deus City may not be as wonderful as it sounds. All communication from the future ceases in the year 2012, leading many to believe the apocalypse is upon us.

It turns out Foo will become president Fujimoto, and recently gained access to the feed from the future with a backdoor. Brackin goes on a journey and time marches on. There have been inconsistencies in transmissions recently, though. One of those inconsistencies introduced us to Theophilius and Brother Orpheus

Currently, Brackin is traveling across the the US looking for...something using a tracker Alex gave him. Foo is busily working on the hackthefeed site, Phil is stuck working in some trailer surrounded by barbed wire, and Alex is off the radar.

12/4 Foo gets another transmission a day early and we meet Brother Orpheus

Cast of Characters

The Project Team
-Adam "AL" Brackin (Brother Theo) – English and Art teacher, "Gifted Education" focus. Becomes lead for the Time Communications Project.
-Mustafa Tang (Foo, Fujimoto) – Number Two on the project, only known as Foo. He presumably fixed a problem when the test shot to the moon was fired.
-Alexis Wright (Alex) - hosted UTD feed 2 on his YouTube account. Does webhosting and bought pizza. Russian. Slept through the project on the 11th despite being a morning person. Locked Foo in the server room and went on a guilt trip and stopped responding to emails
-Phillip Moore – took care of graphics (playing DK in ?Mario Kart? On the video). Threw a party on the 11th and suggested buying lottery tickets. Still on the project. Joined up with DefenseCorp and started sabotaging the project.
-Rose Mandrell– worked on aiming the laser, coordinate / map work.
-David Maxwell seemed sick in early September, warranted an apology from Adam right before the deuscity blog stopped updating
-Adjmeri Patel (Meri) never takes a day off work, whatever it is she does.

People from the Future
Tim Fujimoto - our beloved Senate Majority leader, therefore the president of the largest company, also called Foo. Yes, I checked, it's TIM Fujimoto according to the Doctor Vishnu video. Fellow's got quite a few names floating around.
Doctor Leviticus - Some guy from the future. He's a scientist.
Doctor Vishnu - Temporal Historian, his father will have a heart attack in a year (unless his message changes things....)
Theophilius - witnessed everything happen, describes how transmissions from the future stopped in 2012 leading to general chaos. If you think this isn't Brackin, I've got a bridge I'd love to sell you.
Brother Orpheus - another future guy who might be Brackin
----------------------------------
SIDEBAR--the IG/OOG controversy you may have heard about has resolved itself with a whimper, not a bang. Everything is up on UF, and everything will be up on UF as long as it's remotely feasible to do so.

If you need further help, explore the pages or ask for help in the forum or in chat.

Brother Orpheus

Sounds more like a Sister Orpheus really.

Talks about the SubQ chips, and an underground society calling them selves "Shadow People" made up of indivuals that have removed their chips. Seem to want Defense Corp destroyed.
