Meanwhile, I am curious about your script. I grew up in "The People's
Republic of Santa Monica" during the Tom Hayden days (do you remember
rent control???) so I am very familiar with Beverly Hills, that
beautiful Electric Fountain at the park is amazing when the lights are
on at night. I knew it was a kneeling indian at the top, but didn't
know the tribe was Tongva. Such a rich and sad history all over the
California coast. Peacefully living in harmony with nature and then
enslaved and slaughtered by the Spaniards and the Americans. Tragic.

I kept it pretty vague.

I am glad the White Roses didn't have to break into the compound (Jean Moulin and Timothy Mann were ready to go late last night but Peeps encouraged me to talk to Mr Alan Johnson, find the antidote, and figure out how to get him to blame a Sammeeeee or Trumbo for the poisoning). You can thank Ben for part of that. He told me what he overheard you telling Mr Alan Johnson that Trumbo was setting you up so I kept to that story and since it matched what you said, Mr Alan Johnson bought it. That is why he pulled you out of room 505. That, and because I figured out what was being used to poison him so I think I saved his life last night. In fact, he is so grateful and in a such a good mood, he told me he is bringing THE FIVE in to the house tomorrow night for dinner and allowing them computer access. Weird, huh? I know that he is someone with whom we can deal justly....Trumbo is just a dangerous fruitcake....Mr Alan Johnson will not hurt Dwin at this point (he cares too much about you, Cathy, to do that to you...I just hope he has changed his mind about the Spoocheeeee jackal job). But Trumbo? Na huh! He's going to kill Dwin so he can rule Spoocheeeee himself.

Speaking of Dwin - what does he really know about all this? You said you gave him a letter...but you didn't tell me what you said. Cause I have told Ben pretty much everything; here is what I sent to Ben today:

You need to know something. Patricia Moore is Dwin's mother (but he doesn't know that she works for Mr Alan Johnson). It's a very long
story and your mother will have to explain most of it after we get you
all out of there. Patricia Moore did not plan for any of this to
happen. Everything that has occurred has been because of Mr Alan
Johnson and his organization, and his obsession in getting Peeps back under his control. Patricia Moore was being used by others and has been trying to protect her son from a fate worse than death.

Dwin is a pawn in a much larger war going on between Mr Alan Johnson and another man who used to work for the same company, "Spoocheeeee".

This other man, his name is Dalton Trumbo, is a Communist fanatic who initially claimed he wanted to train Dwin to take Mr Alan Johnson's place in leading Spoocheeeee....but in truth, it appears he wants to assassinate Mr Alan Johnson and take over himself - probably removing Dwin completely from the picture.

We're pretty sure Trumbo has the fifth piece, or hid it someplace....but none of us can get as close to him as you can. Mr Alan Johnson wrote this:
"If you do not know already, Patricia Moore has "escaped". She is more than likely on her way to her lover Dalton's arms as I type this. (I do wish her well.) You do think she will be safe with Dalton? I would hate for her to be in danger, Heather. I may not always demonstrate it, but I do love Patricia Moore. She is a delight and a remarkable dancer. "

This is what I sent to Mr Alan Johnson this morning:
"I can only hope that Patricia is actually in her own home right now. If she has anything to do with Mr Trumbo, I'm sure it is to find that disc piece in order to trade for the safety of her son. I'm sure she cares much more for you than for that Communist creep. "

We're in the process of figuring out where he may have hid that fifth piece. If we find it, I'll let the White Roses know and maybe they can retrieve it. But you might have to distract Trumbo so he doesn't know.

Good luck - we're going to get Kevin out of Spoocheeeee hell, I promise.

I wanted him to know he is my son forever, not just a foster son. I did tell him there is so much I need to talk to him about when he's released. But no details about my relationship to Spoocheeeee. Happy told me she has talked to him a lot about Patricia Moore without disclosing it is me. She feels he should first know that Patricia Moore is on their side. Happy's fantastic with Dwin.

Alan feels very grateful to you right now. I sure he feels this gesture of inviting the five back to his place for dinner is the perfect "thank you" to you for saving his life. I'm sure it'll be nice for them. They have been locked up for a long time. Any fresh air will feel good, even if it is at Alan's place.

I will write tomorrow. I hope I will get something from Dalton for you guys.

very important from him. Dalton's convinced the spirit is
talking about Alan coming for me. So, now he's brought a
bunch of his Spoocheeeee Comrades to guard his home. I
hope the piece isn't in here because unless I can find it,
nobody else would be able to get inside. It is now a
fortress.

I did throw out one question about piece five (I said
something like "You should be careful, Dalton. You know
Alan wants the Spoocheeeee disc.") He said, "Not to worry.
It is now and always has been in the safe place." I
remember he said specifically "the safe place". Whatever
that mean, I hope it helps.
