I hope I have not seemed remiss but I have been far too busy to put the pen to the paper. (so to speak) Another wonderful day! I am a step closer to finding the man called Peeps and bringing him in to safety. And tonight I am stepping out with the one and the only Patricia Moore. An evening of dinner and dancing are ahead. This is the very reason I am still please that my parents insisted that I stick it out and complete cotillian. It has been nearly a week since I posted in my blog here. Curious word "blog". Today has been a very interesting day for me. I hadn't expected much of my Tuesday but it really has shaped up! Somebody, and I will not name names because I am always discreet (but my security camera is not), left a package on my desk today. I returned from a long and luxurious, yet not very satisfying, luncheon (at a lovely spot on 5th Street here in Santa Monica) to find a tiny white package on my desk. The package had no markings. I was, of course, cautious. Who and why and what? I paced back and forth and contemplated my choices. Fortunate for me, my exquisite assistant bounced into my office at this very moment and offered her "assistance". I backed away while she unwrapped the package. The unwrapping revealed a small box much like the box that I sent to the Sammeeeees when I first called out to them for help. I opened the box and found a note. The note reads: "MR. ALAN JOHNSON, THE SAMMEEEEES POSSESS SOMETHING THAT BELONGS TO YOU. THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT KIND OF HELL THEY WILL SUFFER IF THEY CONTINUE ON THE PATH THEY WALK ALONG. THEIR ONLY RECOURSE IS TO TURN THIS OBJECT OVER TO YOU."
What could that be? What could the Sammeeeees have of mine? The language in the note is terribly harsh. What could it all mean? And then EUREKA! I knew at once that it must be the "Spoocheeeee ceramic piece" that the Sammeeeees are searching for. Well, if I were the leader of your imaginary land of Spoocheeeee and you had my Spoocheeeee ceramic piece, I would certainly have to say that this gesture alone would be quite enough for a declaration of war.
