I'm betting that 'V V' stands for The Village Voice, which is where one of the original tinfoil hat ads were found.

So, Happy's 'new protective gear' is most likely a tin-foil hat.

Indeed, there now currently seems to be a new ad, but it says pretty much the same thing. EDIT: it's not actually new. It was posted Sept. 24.

Ah hah!! That number we have for Betty is the contact number!!!
They used the V V to establish it, and the Tin Foil hats to confirm it!

Edit to ad - okay, maybe not. Since the Tin Foil adds were made Sept 24th and the idea to use the V V was posted Sept 30.

Village Voice ads
Knowing where to look

At the top of Betty's MySpace, is "i'm selling electronics ". The (view more) link leds to "hey guys i'm selling electronics to make some extra cash. looking ahead to the future. need something to fall back on (just in case)"

The V V ad for the tin hats was posted in the buy/sell/trade, electronics section.

So, I think that's how they let each other know where to look.

Betty accepted my add but I'm not on her list (yet?). However, she did add "I am Not Null".
Higgs hasn't come back on line since yesterday. But Happy added me and I added her! Can't add anyone else unless we know their email or last name (they have their profiles set to private).

But HHR said that they may be leaving MySpace anyway.
