 I hate to say this...

So I've been calling up stores here locally (Los Angeles) to get my stepbrother one of the pieces from Edoc. Apparently NONE of the stores that are listed for Los Angeles or Pasadena as carriers still have any of these clothes in stock. One of them I talked to said they just hadn't been selling well.

This leads me to wonder just how well the concept has caught on outside the ARG market, which must be fairly small. I mean, these guys have tons of press - they just made it into last month's Computer Gaming World - but fashion is a much trickier sell to the masses than creating some dope urban legend and hoping people catch on. People are much more likely to wear something that identifies them as a cool, hip gamer than something that is a game you're supposed to play.

That doesn't mean it isn't an interesting concept or I'm not going to buy their stuff for my stepbrother. It's just my guess for why I can't, in one of the most competitive fashion markets in the country, find their clothes anywhere.
