Hmm... Interesting find, we've been told that the cube is located in an "arboreal" place though after Receda's Revenge #2, sorry to put a dampener on things but I also can't see anyone letting us dig up a public library , I think we are on the right trail though, and can see this whole puzzle being solved soon and the cube being found

Personally the "Yellow Cars" in Dissolution put me on the scent of New York so i there is a strong possibility we are in the right place, but still, in reality it could be anywhere

Well..I also got Lindstrom, Adamek, Loan, Mind Candy, Book amongst others from the the text string. It's just that I used all the letters available (if they are the correct letters) for the submitted 'solution'.

Could arboreal mean 'the oak room' not just a living woodland?

It could indeed now that I think about it, the definition of arboreal is "relating to or resembling trees" indeed, the cube may not be in a wood, but could be somewhere that has a referance to trees either in its name or appearance, there must be something which comes from each of the videos to tell us exactly where the cube is, from what I have read this is what I believe each has helped us with...

5 - The method to decode "secret location" and the five fingers point message.
6 - The order in which to read the number strings
7 - The letters from taking each number string path, and how to get to them

I think that 2, 3 and 4 have messages in there

2 - "realise" has a lot of speculation going around about the leaves used in the flash

3 - Nothing totally obvious from this as of yet, so possibly a large clue hiding in here somewhere?

4 - "arrangements" - The Receda's Revenge in the background might be the main clue here, as it led us to the second instalment of the Adventure, but is there more to this flash than meets the eye?


All of the pages on the LoB will probably be linked in some way, and as this page was put up just over 2 weeks ago, I wouldn't rule out another flash being created in the future, Im sure someone said there was space for 9 videos somewhere??

I would say though that the letters from the middle of the numberstrings could play a huge part in the solution, Ive just this feeling that there is something bug hidden in the whole thing

I was having a chat on the chat room yesterday and I feel that we are still missing one of the major clues in the flash. Towards the end of all the pathways when the 4 letters appear and as the screen goes to "motion, held fast" there is the following image

We need to get some spec going. Lets not give up. I thought I was doing well working out that the key represented key square. I came on here and you've already done all the pathways and got the string of letters. I wouldn't even know where to start. I don't think old CT would have left that image for no reason. We just need to work out where it fits into all of this......

I agree with you there Tornan, I kind of had the idea of following the paths from Key Square in the way that it was shown in the flash, but had no idea where to go after that, checked on here and everything was already done , I do think that the Papillon has something to do with the puzzle, it must be more than a coincidence that it seems to be pictured here and was mentioned in the "5th flash?" (could be the 6th flash)

The percentage signs also offer a mystery as such, possibly the number 100 is conected to the location?? (percentages are out of 100), and also visable in the background of the picture are 2 circles around the key, I wonder if these have any significance as well??

If Motion Held Fast means anything perhaps it is referring to a sculpture? Or a fountain?

i thought it reffered to a butterfly in constent motion, yet appering still. Chaos theory, lol, i've done my share allready. the double circle does look like a "Phase diagram for a damped driven pendulum, with double period motion". if i'm understanding this right, (and i'm not, ) then CT is our little butterfly, and s/he's moving their wings by coming to earth via k00b. the ripple? it's us being dumbarsses.

I believe the person who finds the cube will the the one with the worstest (most boringest) JOB.

I don't think I'm stock savvy enough to see if there's anything to make out of this, but I found something interesting while googling this morning:

A Butterfly Spread:
