 		hey back a post or 2 someone found ironwheats profile and there was a jumbled first message in her blog anyway i i said it was from a song called her name in blood by strungout they are now on ironwheat friendlist?? so do you think there is anything there we should be lookin for? maybe not ?

is there anyone from this site called tree on myspace?

There are now several people who think they've had chat sessions with me. Note: I have not engaged in IMs or TMs with anyone in the last 6 months. This is exactly why I posted the videos, the stories of the people in them began with online chat. Be careful if you don't know who you're chatting with. And whatever you do, DON'T WEBCAM WITH THEM. Now you know why I rarely answer email.


Is Eddie IG or OOG?

Color me confused. It doesn't seem as if he really wants to find them at all.

 		its just part of the game all the profiles blogs n posts change one after the other they all get changed the same day or in sequence

but i am startin to think this is going nowhere one thing i do think is happening someone maybe messing about strange things like why did rumi have a profile before ironwheat?? when ironwheat was the first victim?? maybe the creator of this game has got himself lost it would be easy to create someone from the game a profile.

also i think somepeople is spoiling it for us by mailing eddie thinking he is all these people. (I have not engaged in IMs or TMs ) eddie is supposed to be our messenger boy and nothing else so who ever is mailing him saying things like (are you ironwheat) please stop thats why hes complaining hes prob just gettin to many spamish emails.

im not sure what we do now????

 		Here's my take on Eddie. He is either IG, being our original point of contact for action. Unless this is all real, in which case, yipes.

The Iron Wheat profile...is not the girl pictured. It's either a hijacker, OR potentially the person sending Eddie the clues (who also may be the RhinoJock27 on IM)

I think people are confusing Eddie with being one or the other of those two, which is incorrect.

RuMi's profile is her/the girl in the video... has anyone sent HER the videos or website to warn her? Or sent her a message in general?

Since RhinoJock27 said he was coming back from the post office, there is a good chance Eddie will post something new in the next few days.

Yeah, that was me, I think they added me because my profile is private unless you're my friend, but they have since deleted me, sooo I guess they got whatever it is they wanted/needed.

earlier i was onabout the band that ironwheat used lyrics from and i traced the lyrics to the band etc well i said earlier why did ironwheat add strungout well if you look on there profile ironwheat has left some kind of code this is it:

It doesn't seem as if there's a purpose, does it? Find the others seemed to be a goal. Yet Ru-Mi (*cough*roomie*cough*) was found and acknowledged - Then nothing.

You are right - This doesn't seem to have a purpose outside of drawing people to the web site. That might be the purpose, but it isn't much fun. Rolling Eyes

So, I'm reading through this thread, trying to follow the trail, and have some questions.

1. akirra - do you know Nola? Nola is a longtime uF member and you are using the same avatar. The reason I ask is that it is considered a little bit rude to use the same avatar of another member.

2. when following a game trail, I like to see relationships with characters and the latest website....but there are a couple of places where it doesn't seem to fit. Like that MySpace found after an IM to a new player. My little whiskers get all twitchy when established players do not get the same information that a new player gets out of the blue.

The problem with MySpace and blogspot and IMs; anyone can create a page and link it to an established IG site and anyone can create an IM identity and claim to be a character. Heck, the Sammeeeees (players) created a page in order to fool an IG character - to keep him from finding the real page that another character led us to). But if the IG site doesn't link to the new page - that raises the hairs on the back of my neck. And if established characters do not introduce the new character (either by mentioning them in an email to established players or by posting their name in a comment or other manner on an established website) then I get very suspicious.

This storyline has possibilities but the game appears to have some serious flaws (i.e. the characters asking us to shill stuff to other websites in an apparent attempt to bring in other players).

I'm sorry, but I'm not finding anything really dynamic to draw me back into this ARG.

This seems to be nonsensical and totally out of context from the videos presented. However, after trying to derive meaning from this message, something clicked. The first part is nonsense, a ruse for the validity of the rest of the message. The real meat is in the rest. Redirected twice = two uses of the service "redirectme.net." First rep sounded like mud, but redder = First redirectme.net prefix sounds like mud, but redder, i.e. blood. It turns out that blood.redirectme.net is a valid address that forwards the user to a mediafire.com homepage with a file called "hotwebcamgirl.jpg". However, this file does not seem to be a valid image file. Will start investigating this file further, it could be using some sort of compression.

 		heres the code in the image when u open it theres thousands of letters and numbers which make no sense but this is left at the bottom a few lines down from the rest of the letters and numbers so i guess this is our code???
