Got it. But have no idea what it means... yet.

even West or metal or a whale.

Anyone else creeped out about this one? Not sure what this ends up meaning, but maybe it will move us along a little.

I didn't get an mp3 clip when I opened the file - just a txt file. Perhaps the download was changed by the time I got it. Most of this makes sense -- until you get to whale -- and then I am a bit confused as to the meaning.

Quote:
"White Room", written by Jack Bruce and Pete Brown, is a single by Cream from their 1968 album Wheels of Fire.

After bassist Jack Bruce wrote the guitar pieces, Cream's lyricist, poet Pete Brown, grouped colorful four-syllable phrases, loosely organised around images of waiting in an English train station influenced by the drugs he was taking. The combination is often considered one of the shining moments in British psychedelia. "White Room" is further noted for its unusual time signature of 5/4 in the introduction and bridge, with triplets played on tympani by Ginger Baker. "White Room" is notable for showcasing guitarist Eric Clapton's best known use of the wah-wah pedal (possibly aside from "Tales of Brave Ulysses") in the bridge and extended solo.

even West or metal or a whale.

even West

Leslie West was the lead guitarist for the Vagrants, a locally popular 1960s Long Island group. One of that group's singles was produced by Felix Pappalardi, a bass player who also produced Cream. After the Vagrants and Cream split up, Pappalardi played bass on and produced West's debut solo album, Mountain (July 1969). Following its release, the two teamed up with drummer Norman Smart (soon replaced by Corky Laing) and keyboard player Steve Knight to form the band Mountain. In 1972, Pappalardi left Mountain to return to being a producer. West and Laing joined with former Cream bassist Jack Bruce to form West, Bruce & Laing.

Bruce's most famous songs are, in essence, blues tunes: "Sunshine of Your Love," "Strange Brew," "Politician," and "White Room." Bruce's best-known songs remain those he penned for Cream, the legendary blues-rock trio he formed with drummer Ginger Baker and guitarist Eric Clapton in July 1966.

I gave it a shot....Came back out of the gallery to hop back in after my almost two year self-imposed exile...

But this one's not for me, sorry. I can appreciate all the hard work and effort out into by the PM (s?) - those videos we put together incredibly well - but but between the muddying of the lines, long bursts of (seeming) inactivity, and the use of this board by for what all accounts looks like too many in-game and possibly behind the curtain people...I gotta take a pass, even before I could contribute on the boards.

I won't call this one "bad" though....just a bit divergent for me.

Good luck gang...let me know how it turns out. I think I heard somewhere that some poor girl lost her cat - maybe I'll see if I can help.
