Guts of a Beggar!

Hi!

I stepped away from this game for awhile. I've been reading through the pages and came to this "chat" with Arc. I was suspicious of that beggar line. Guess what I found?!!! I think this is another reference to Hamlet. Try Act 4 Scene 3:
Quote:

HAMLET
Not where he eats, but where he is eaten. A certain
convocation of politic worms are e'en at him. Your worm is
your only emperor for diet. We fat all creatures else to fat us,
and we fat ourselves for maggots. Your fat king and your
25 lean beggar is but variable service—two dishes, but to one
table. That's the end.

A man may fish with the worm that hath eat of a king, and
eat of the fish that hath fed of that worm.

Nothing but to show you how a king may go a progress
through the guts of a beggar.

That's scary!

~H

So he likes Hamlet quite a bit.
If you look hard enough, you can relate everything to Shakespeare. Particularly Hamlet. I don't really think it's an attempt at further frustrating us.

Arc Fatalis: I could be bounded in a nut shell and count myself a king of infinite space, were it not that I have bad dreams.
Arc Fatalis: Do you know what I mean?
rhinojock27: Ah! How clever!

"Perfectionate" is defined as "to perfect."

Arc Fatalis: So is art, or at least the viewing of it, one of your hobbies?
Arc Fatalis: Rhino?
rhinojock27: Oh, hello.
Arc Fatalis: Did you get my question?
rhinojock27: I apologize for my sequestrated comportment, but I m extremely busy with an important person. We will talk soon.
Arc Fatalis: An important person such as a client?
rhinojock27: That question is out of bounds.
Arc Fatalis: I was just wondering if it was business related.
Arc Fatalis: I am, myself, an artist, and I would be happy to show you some of my work if you'd care to view it.
Arc Fatalis: From what I've seen, it may just suit your tastes.
rhinojock27: Ha ha ha.
Arc Fatalis: Did I miss something?
Arc Fatalis: Or are you just textually laughing for no reason?
rhinojock27: Apology, I sent the message to the wrong recipient.
Arc Fatalis: ah.
rhinojock27: You have a delicious evening.

Hello, everyone.

I just noticed that this thread is getting really long. You do know that you can start different threads for different subjects relating to the same game in the Potentials forum, right? We try to keep it to one thread per game in News and Rumors, but you're free to spread out a bit here. It may help to keep discussion easier to follow.

Anyway, just wanted to make sure everyone understood that. Smile

Thanks Phaedra!!

I think I'll start a new one about the convos people are having with rhinojock, as that seams to be the point of focus at the moment.

Oh, one other thing -- please tag any threads for BristelGoodman with [BG], like cissmiace so kindly did, so we know which game they're for. Thanks! Smile

rhinojock27: How touching that I have supporters who name themselves after me, I do adore it!
rhinojock27: Odd.
rhinoj0ck27: yes, they are public dont you know?
rhinojock27: n : mature male goose
rhinoj0ck27: correct
rhinojock27: You silly Les, do I know you?
rhinoj0ck27: You do now.
rhinojock27: I mean, have we met?
rhinoj0ck27: I don't believe so.
rhinojock27: Can we?
rhinoj0ck27: I would enjoy that very much
rhinojock27: Goodbye! I must speak with a friend. Unfortunately, this name has become to public, I do have others you know... Ta-ta!
