When I went through my initial "what would it be like to be a PM?" phase, which I assume everyone goes through at some point, one of the scenarios I imagined involved crossing the ig/oog boundary in a similar manner to this.

After getting to know the community, however, I just assumed it would never work and probably have a negative effect on my game. You know, curtains and all...

 		OK, just caught myself up. That's a bit... strange... that he freaked out like that. So is this, seriously, not a game? For some reason, I have a hard time believing that... the invitation and all seem a bit too- well put together. If this IS an ARG, and made with the intention to be an ARG rather than a hoax, then I'm wondering who made it. A corporation most likely wouldn't deal in subject matter this deep, and a uFer-turned-puppetmaster would almost never link to uF in the game. So... who is it?

My guess is, this is a hoax. Perhaps this stuff WAS sent to Eddie, and he honestly believes this is real, but I still doubt that the Bristel Goodman killer exists...

Oh, and the NetThreats thing is interesting. Maybe someone should email them and let them know that this might be an ARG?

However, the thing that has many of us confused of late is that Eddie has recently become very angry... apparently, he found our thread discussing the possibility of this being an Alternate Reality Game, and didn't like that. He even linked to the unforums, which is a big no-no in the world of Alternate Reality Gaming. This has many of us thinking that this may not be an Alternate Reality Game. Quite possibly Eddie is a real person, and he honestly believes that these videos which were sent to him are real, and that if he doesn't continue to post them everywhere someone else will die.

So, I just wanted to let you know about the unForums. If you have any further questions, you can post there and I'm sure someone will be happy to answer them for you.

It is also interesting to note that you posted your most recent update on the story on 12-06... eight days before uF became aware of the event.
