[SPEC] Ashton

Quote:

Elliot J Hurst: To this current location, just outside a town called Townsend, in South Georgia. The silence is almost loud at times. Have you ever experienced such a thing?

Area code 323 is a state of California telephone area code which covers, roughly, the area of central Los Angeles (excluding Downtown Los Angeles and immediately adjoining neighborhoods such as Koreatown, Echo Park, and Chinatown). 323 also includes Hollywood.

Quote:
Elliot J Hurst: Very gifted. I believe he may have even had a son of his own, by I fell slave to the bottle, and retreated to more solitary grounds.

Elliot J Hurst: No. I do not know of his whereabouts, ever since he left home in the 1970's.
MountainGirlXD: That must be very difficult. What makes you think he has a son of his own?
Elliot J Hurst: He was with a girl, that is, when he lived at home. She gave birth to a baby boy from what I remember. They were having trouble communicating, but she decided to have the child.

Now, if Ashton was old enough in the late 70's to have had a child, and gone off to live on his own, then he would have to be approximately 47ish. His child, a son would be about 28.

Going out on another limb here, but I am willing to bet that Ashton is Caine's father.

Elliot's son's name is Arthur not Ashton. Perhaps Ashton could be his grandson.

Quote:
Elliot J Hurst: I am a tired, broken old man. I don't know what good could possibly come out of my actions. And my son's name was Arthur.

Goodness. Three new threads just about Ashton? Couldn't these all be discussed in the same thread?

Yes, yes they could.

Guys, please keep the Ashton discussion to a single thread. The proliferation of threads here is getting a bit out of hand. I'm going to hold off on locking all but one of them for now, but please try to keep it reasonably contained.

Creating tons of threads is not necessarily going to get a game its own subforum any sooner.

ETA: Okay, guys, having looked at this, I really don't see a need for multiple threads for each character. There's no reason why interaction with a character, blog updates for a character, and speculation about a character can't all coexist peacefully in a single thread. So, I'm leaving open the longest thread for each character and locking the other two.

I understand that you're trying to make it easier to follow, but I really think that for newcomers, at this point, a linear approach, wherein the information pertaining to each character (IMs, blog updates, speculation, etc.) is contained in a single thread, will make it easier for new people to catch up.
