If you follow this link and decide to post an e-mail the address is to 666SPLAT3csoft.com. then check out 3csoft.com. can anyone tell me if this is a legit website because it looks a bit dodgy to me?

The Link

If this is a legit website then this is a bit of a coincidence because if you click on the british flag you get something that says; product, then a space to enter something, then a unit price dropdown box which contains the the symbols; <=. Sound familiar?

<=A7

Still playing but nothing yet!

How did you follow the link to ls/usr/488574/megaman-hanger/.*? I couldn't get it to anything...

So, I went to 3csoft.com and it's just a reserved domain. A google search for 3csoft brings up 3csoft.net, which is apparently what you're speaking of...but I think it's a vietnamese technology sales company. The site looks shady, but it seems legit. Further down the 3csoft search, 3csoft also appears to be (or once was) a web design company in Vietnam, designing a few sites in 2002.

My main question is how did you connect this to S7?

Yeah, not sure how you jumped to 3csoft too... some elaboration?

AFAICS, the right-hand window is a "status" log, and the "ls usr/.." line is a command being run, probably to open the window on the left. Various status lines appear when you open stuff, move/minimise/close windows, etc.

I tried some packet sniffing to see if the 'traceroute' info on the left *was* being pulled in live, but couldn't see any data, so I'm guessing it's random? Thought it would be nifty if you could connect to the server being used and plug in those file names, or something...

1:53 - 2:00 video analysed

thanks for replying ams. gonna have to wait for u to get better to work out the pic part. haven't looked at any sound between those times, but i did check out the video frame by frame. for a 7 second transformation there is a hell of a lot of detail in the animation and i mean hell of a lot... i would call it overkill. there is detail in there that i only notice frame by frame. may have found something but not sure. at 1:59 in frame just before the whole transformation "shrinks down" (watch it frame by frame then that will make sense) in the top left part of the transformining there looks to be a few numbers/letters (like 5 or so) on a piece.... can't make it out tho one of them looks like a two. when i zoom in it gets too blurry. and maybe its just that... a blur.

anyways, for others, here's a few tips and tools that will help everyone help everyone.

First, if your not using mozilla firefox, get it. Then go to the mozilla firefox site and under the plugins look thru the most downloaded ones for the one that allows u to download youtube/yahoo movies/quicktimes streams. install it. Google the K lite mega codec pack, download and install it making sure you let it install the classic media player.

go to transformersmovie.com and where the trailer is follow the link to the HD version on yahoo movies. select the HD movies, then 1080 one (this is the highest res version of the trailer available on the net). let it fully buffer (quicktime should've been installed with the codec pack). once it has fully buffered, you should be able to right click on the movie and save it to your machine. it is 154mb with a 1920X798 res. use the windows media player CLASSIC (its important to use that and not the standard media player) and you can watch it in that. It also give you the ability to watch in slow motion (with sound) and frame by frame.

For those that want to help with the transforming words at the end or just those who want to see the detail, scroll to 1:53 or so, pause, then use the step forward button to watch each frame.

Agreement
Thoughts on "Top Secret" Agreement

Just a thought, but maybe the "Top Secret" agreement PDF between Takara and S7 is S7's attempt at hiding the problem in plain sight. If S7 is supposed to be a covert government agency that knows about the Transformers, then what better way to keep people from thinking it is real by creating a kid's toy line and cartoon series? Then anybody who comes out to claim that Transformers exist looks like a kook.

Anybody agree or disagree?

Totally agree, a really better way than hiding everything in some area 51 and leaving there to rot Wink
