Right, lets string them up thebruce. I could have told most of you just like others already have. This is about as close to an ARG as the The human Project was to the Children of Men Movie. They only made THP ARGish because we damanded they do so.

I doubt you will really get much out of this, besides some extra content. But to defame the movie because of a misjudgment. I can't fathem it.

Just thought I'd transcribe the text overlay from the video, might come in handy at some point.
Quote:

>>> INCOMING SIGNAL: PRIORITY A3 VERIFIED / SCRAMBLE: LT. COL ALEXANDER POWERS - 114207CX9 / TRACE TO SOURCE: VERIFIED.

-- IP TRACE: 12.22.112.7675
-- TRACK / VERIFIED
-- 20.00.15.3256 MOD
-- SEQUENCING / RECORDING ...

There is also an S7 logo in the lower-left which contains the text "ZEBRA-25-V32".

yeah, why does it say "SCRAMBLE:"
b4 where it says "LT COL ALEXANDER POWERS"
is the message scrambled or something? a hidden message within message,

also why does it say" recording" after the message is done?

the sector seven logo reminds me of the wallpapers with the decepitcon or autobot logo put in the same exact spot, the logos also are somewat similar in size and shape,
good there be secrets in the transformers wallpaper?

additionaly the "blip" in the video looks like the form the transformers crash on earth in

Confused anyone got ne ideas?

In a military context, "Sramble" usually means activating units and getting them out in the field in a hurry - like "Scramble all fighters" for example.

Takara Bio Inc

Hi, I'm new to the forums and I just found out about this potential ARG. (Just watched The Game 3 days ago Shocked )

Anyway, I was following up on some of the leads. And I thought the Takara Bio Inc. might seem like a good lead. I also thought that bigwig names hadn't been used up yet.

So I went to Takara Bio's which is takara-bio.com
1. Why is there a specific Japanese trailer of the movie?
2. Why is Takara a supposed big name bio-genetics firm? Wouldn't the idea of naming something so related to toys have been a problem in a realistic sense?
3. Why is the site shown in Japanese or English?
4. Why is the site first shown as English? If its a Japanese company it would make sense to advertise and explain in Japanese first, or to have an intro page which specifies nationality. Starting in English makes us naturally assume "they" are projecting towards an english audience.

I read some stuff on the site, but it was gibberish. Some one much smarter than me should take a look at what they are saying, especially about the cell transfer and agro-bio whatjamajig. I'll explain in a sec why.

5. I googled R. Howard (from the Netgun specs pic) and Takara in the same search. (The specific search was "R. Howard Takara" without the quotes)

Here are the 3 top links.

The first is a transformers fan site called seibertron
The second is nested page from the former all talking about what we're talking about
The third page was GOLD!

Its a PDF file. I copied and pasted what google said as its detail:

[PDF]
Attachment of heavy metal to DNA molecules for rapid analysis
File Format: PDF/Adobe Acrobat
purchase from Takara. A unique recognition site of BamH I is ... [4] J.L Bear, H.B.Gray, Jr., L. Rainen, I. M. Change, R. Howard, G. Serio, ...

In the list of names we have R. Howards. Its about DNA molecules (a Takara type of thing) and the "purchase" from Takara.

this attachment of heavy metal to DNA molecules is almost key to the idea of alien robots.

Now we have 5 more names. The PDF wasn't accesible cause I don't know how to Embarassed Its on a secure site, maybe.

Anyway that's all I've got for now. Happy hunting guys, and don't give up so fast. S. Spielburg's team did the Beast. He wouldn't throw down another chance to dazzle us with a little bit of fun.

This is my first ARG and so far it sounds promising. I'll get back to you guys tomorrow after I search around a little more.

More stuff? More... W.E.E.E?

This could be, like it says in the title, mere electronic waste.

Noob to the MAX had a good idea with the IP trace (I don't know how you guys do that stuff. That's just intense Wink )

xeex.com sounded like a good place to search for some clues.

Its an empty site (Sketchy!) with some links to articles to columnists on Networld. Is that a real magazine? why does xeex lead to those specific articles?

I looked at the source code. Again Gold... maybe not.

The garble that's in the code is mighty long. I don't know if it means anything but it seems like a message of somekind. Somebody please check it out.

And BTW how did Noob to the MAX find all this relation to Xeex stuff. Is this even relevant to Takara if yes then:

what is the connection between an American Military Sector (sector 7), American FBI's and "phone tapping" (Articles directed to NetWorld from Xeex), Japanese bio genetics company (Takara Bio Inc) and the Transformers?

Sector 7 sold secrets to Takara. Takara purchased something (mentioned or hinted in the PDF file I found) and its got to do with heavy metal which is on a site called ieee.com which sounds kind of familiar to W.E.E.E. electronic waste, and now there is a site called xeex.com which has an combination of e's in them as well.

Another thing that I had a hunch about. A lot of the Takara articles from their site talk about affiliated partners of some sort. Indiana University was a name drop. Maybe perhaps that's also a branch for new clues?

the address to Networlds was on the xeex site if you need it.

Noob to the Max -
The IP you get on a failed login changes based on where you access the site from. From one location, I got 72.246.31.38, which is an Akamai address. (Akamai is a "content delivery provider".) Another was 64.111.215.67, which according to ARIN is owned by isprime.com. Going to ISPrime's website tells you that they have recently started providing colocation services for, once again, Akamai. If the xeex.com site was currently fully operational, I bet we'd find they're yet another hosting provider of some kind. Also, browsing to each of the IP's mentioned gives the default Akamai "invalid URL" page.

Bauski - the paper you found is hosted on ieee.org (IEEE is a legit and well-known organization), so no ARG-relation there.

Also, in case anyone is interested, decompiling the flash for the interface indicates that the "IP addresses" displayed are generated randomly, so no significance there.

Xeex, probably not connected

So... I was looking in that Xeex website's source code. I found an that was 1x1 dimension-wise.

http://xeex.com/i/s.gif

However, going to the directory where this was held only brought me here. http://xeex.com/i/

It doesn't seem connected to anything at all, really.

If it's not in-game, then it shouldn't be in this thread... if it is, then please do share
