wow you guys are bored.

The fact that i say found SOMETHING, and not, I FOUND THE WORDS (BLANK) or I see this and that definit pattern, SOMETHING is just that, UNKNOWN, and most everytime i did tell you where I was looking, BECAUSE I USUALLY POSTED THE PIC, no need to go hunting.

WHat part of "i have paid particular attention to the TRANSFORMING endomg words..." was unclear as to where to go in the trailer..... and if i knew what I had found I would have Said it. I said i was looking at the NEGATIVE space Betwen the transforming endwords of the trailer. the speaks volumes was a bad reference my teacher made to me once about looking at images for whats missing or not there instead of the details of the images. but again, i thought i was clear i was where and at what i was looking at... and others got what I was looking at.

And the hold off on sharing until i connect the dots means im not gonna say guess at what it could be until i get deeper into it, but it looks like something,, and again,,, i said where i was looking. Pointing out where I am currently serching and think might hold a clue isnt a waste of time. DONT LOOK IF YOU DONT WANT. I would like to know wher you guys look for clues. or what your trying, but it seems only a small small group even try.

Finding a pattern....whats unclearabout that. if i posted the pic, YOU SHOULD SEE THE PATTERN IF YOUR NOT YOUR BLIND, if i only mentioned seeming a pattern it was just that, seeing some sort of pattern, but unclear as to what.

Sharing is a word that you all seem to think means give me the answer and we will talk about it, How come I cant share the direction i am looking in, Like the Inverting of a logo . WE DONT HAVE ANY OTHER LEADS, whats the harm. If you dont wanna look, DONT LOOK.

But maybe someone else was doing what I was trying already and found nothing, so that could save me time. Like that one pattern in the gun pic that was 70% sure was just gif conpression and 30% might be a pattern.
The fact is I was looking, and trying things out, which is alot more than i can say for half the people bitching at me.

NOBODY PUT A GUN TO YOUR HEAD TO "be chasing your ill-constructed clues to information that turns out to be completely irrelevant". And noone else was coming up with anything better, OR ANYTHING for that matter.

And lastly... I only heard about the password being in the ad WAYY after this whole bitching session started. I was mearly informing everyone that it WAS OUT BY PARAMOUNT, because it wasnt positive we should have had access to that yet. Again...information thats good to know, but yet you seemd to twist that into "ive know this whole time it was in the ad MWHAAA" Get over yourself.

I tried talking this out in IM with a Moderator, you ALLLLLLLLL dragged in here.

No, you told the answer, and very overtly held it in front of our faces telling us we have to figure out how to get it by ourselves. That's a form of arrogance. None of this would have happened had you either not shared the new password, or simply said how you found it. Leave the judging up to the players themselves as to whether they're smart enough to have figured it out.

That said, what's done is done. Let's move on. The hole is known, and it's up the PMs as to whether to fix the hole avoid this at the next update or not.

Shake hands and move on. Or don't shake hands and move on, that's your choice. But move on.
Keep in mind that good form - that is, that which won't make people dislike you - is telling either all or nothing of what you know or have found out, not dangling a part of it and withholding the rest.

In the end, the gif situation was resolved - the patterns were patterns, but simple GIF artifacting, not intelligent coded messages.
In the end, the thefirst7 password was resolved - a revelation of it was found in an ad on ESPN.com, after having decompiled the website's flash to find it in the code first.

moving on......
any leads as to possible unsolved mysteries in the new login? Or is it all just informational at this point? (all the schematics and videos and such)

YOu are right, I overtly withheld how I found it, because as you know from my PRIVATE IM's i had other reasons for withholding some of it. O did say I was planning on walking you it WHEN I GOT BACK , through the part where I noticed the URL changes FIRST, DING DING. then it was a matter of code, but I didnt wanna share that part but i never got that far, But after all the attacks, Ya, i said "I was gonna walk you through how I got it when I got back but now you can just figure it out yourself. "

And ya know what, Im sticking by it. If you couldnt wait 2.5 hours til i got back from from taking my sick friends mom home from the hospital wiithout going on a ramble about EVERYTHING IVE EVER SAID and DONE in this thread, ya, FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF leaps to mind. And i really didnt expect noone else to not see the URL changes and flash code in the time i left, I gave you too much credit .

MOving on

I was thinking about the email video where they show the claw mark, and i got to thinking maybe combined with the interactive map we could locate where it happened. and maybe find out where the failed 1 /usr/lib/u4/dod/remote-terminal-5 : might be in the building. that seems like its a clue.

the vid
first seven

Does anybody remember the vid that was from the pizza boy? The vid showed us a wall full of pictures. They were what apear to be thefirst seven right? Could anybody make out what the names under the photos were? Also, the camera man zoomed in on the word "FIRST". What could the meaning of that be? I believe that the room was "RT24"

I Tried using "THEFIRST" and "FIRST" as passwords. Darn! Didn't work, I'm gonna look into the floorplan.

floorplan
room 16???

ams, you posted the list of rooms earlier in this forum. The problem is this, you posted a room #16 in F1 or floor one. You said it is a camera or survailence room. The floorplan on the site has no such room. Where did you find it? Was it just a simple mistake?

That wasnt me

That list was a copy and paste from code, that i cleaned up.
here is the original :

descriptions[1][14] = "Restroom";
descriptions[1][15] = "Elevating Platform and Retractable Roof";
descriptions[1][16] = "Surveillance Camera";
descriptions[2][1] = "12 3,500-Kilowatt (5,600 hp) Diesel Backup Generators";
descriptions[2][2] = "Control Center";
descriptions[2][3] = "Elevator Bank";

you are right 16 is on level2.

Oh, I see. By the way, none of the surveillance rooms/cameras are listed on the map that is on the site. Interesting eh?

LOL i do too

You think it could be related to the claw video?

THE EMAIL SAID:

After several attempts to contain the treated subject for further testing, we initiated a high-intensity EMP that rendered it inert.

I have attached video of the chamber and damage caused by the experiment.

the timing seems good.

Yeah but still, what about that wall of seven photographs. The photos of men with the lable "THE FIRST SEVEN"? 7 seems to be the lucky number huh. 7 insect icons on virtual desktop, 7 photos of seven men, Sector 7.....

What could the meaning of the unlocked door be? The door that was shown to us in the pizzaboy vid.
