[Syst3m] TRAILHEAD - syst3m.co.uk

A few minutes ago, Phaedra and I (and presumably a few others?) recieved an email with the quote "Life consists not in holding good cards but in playing those you hold well" over the following image

EDIT - Moved to ARGs with Potential, 5/16/06 - SG

There are four pages linked to the employment page.
1.html through 4.html
that may be connected to the employment test.
EDIT: Added
And the resistor color codes for the tarot terrorist circuit are (rom top to botton, reading left to right)
10
58
19
98
19
20
If I 'm seeing the colors correctly.
All look like silver for the the multiplier which would ake them all 1/100 of those values.
That's an extremely rare occurrence, though. Especially as there is no tolerance indicator (4th band, usually silver or gold).

EDIT2:
Didn't take them long to dump the numbered html pages. The links are now dead.

EDIT3:
Given the other (blue) resistors they wrote on top of, I thought the quick solve would be "/RESIST/", glancing at the code pattern, but it didn't work.

Looks like those who have received the e-mails have been targeted by the 'Tarot Terrorists':

Bingo:
http://www.syst3m.co.uk/resist/

EDIT:
You have to disregard, completely, the rules for determining values of resisance by color and just go with the simplest representation presented.
Code:
18=R(Brown, Gray)
 5=E(Green)
19=S(Brown, White)
 9=I(White)
19=S(Brown, White)
20=T(Red, Black)

So is the current Pope Jean III (on the tarot terrorists page) or John Paul III (on the news page)? And does the writer review his/her text before saving and posting?

And MeatPuppets - ew or hmm? Glad to see they fixed the "agility problem". Laughing

But big picture - think "Big Brother" - Global provides your home, all your interfaces with the world, your sex toys (see above), security, healthcare (hey, free euthanasia!).

I'm feeling some sympathy for the terrorists...

22 cards, 22 arcana.
If you click on the first card and enter "the fool" (lower case) you get a message box that says "THE FOOL"

Good find Rogi.
On that page, I am assuming they refer to the Arcana, "The two halves of a Tarot deck. The Major Arcana consists of 22 trumps depicting dominant occurrences in our lives." I assume the major arcana because there are 22 cards visible. I clicked on the first grey button by the first card and got a prompt. I tried fool, but i got "the cards say you...", but when i tried "the fool", I got a different response "THE FOOL" in caps. Don't know if this is the right avenue, or if there is a set pattern. I am just tossing this out to see if anyone can run with it.

Beat me to it, by a second. LOL

Bit of info.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The key is action. tabula recta. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabula_recta Perhaps "action" is the key to a puzzle we need to solve.

I was thinking of employee login information, but I can't get it to work.
